Re: Pittsburgh Pirates 2025 Season
Local CA kid found his Golden Ticket. After careful consideration regarding the commute to make it work out for him, he has decided to take the Ticket to auction.
30 years of season seats for the Pirates, I would imagine that post auction, he can afford a Tesla truck and a one bedroom condo in Moreno Valley...

Re: Pittsburgh Pirates 2025 Season
Kid could probably still buy 30 years of season tickets for the Pirates on top of those as well. Should offer the card for the team straight up.BigMcK wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 11:07 pmLocal CA kid found his Golden Ticket. PLAY BALL!!
Gotta love Paul Skenes. Too bad the penny pincher Nutting can't provide a better supporting cast to a generational pitcher. And too bad he won't be here for long. Enjoy him while he's a Pirate..

Some things never change. Skenes gives the skipper a 4-1 lead and he screws it up by not understanding how to use his bullpen. Again. Same old story. Man this crap gets old fast.

Horrible bull pen screws Skenes out of the first of I’m sure many wins this season.

Del this is another coach special replay. Seems to be the new norm in Pittsburgh sports.

How many opportunities does Bednar get before someone pulls the plug?

Chants of "Sell The Team!" break out at the opener. LOL. This team is a joke.

MLB team values:
#1: Yankees - $8billion *** $708million annual revenue
#27: Pirates - $1.47billion *** $329million annual revenue
#30: Marlins - $1.28billion *** 296million annual revenue
"Bottom Line Bob".

Pirates are coming to town this week. I think Skenes pitched today, so based on the attached schedule, when would he pitch next? I don't recall how many games are in rotation between starts.

Hopefully this is read before it's too late.
Thanks

Thanks, RJ for the information. It looks like I'll be watching from home, as LA is not a place to cheer on the visitors at the stadium. Unless you enjoy 'you wanna go, bro' antics...Admin wrote: Sun Apr 20, 2025 11:59 amThis site https://www.fantasypros.com/mlb/schedules/ says Friday, April 25th against the Dodgers.

Re: Pittsburgh Pirates 2025 Season
Just reading about the young Pirates fan who fell 21 feet onto the field. Investigators have interviewed members of his party to see if alcohol played a part, actually using credit card purchases by his group for alcohol, if that could lead them to a decision.
The story says he is now awake in his hospital bed.
Cutch shared his thoughts, concerns and well wishes.

Shelton fired. Big deal. I guess that gets the GM off the hook. Same garbage lineup tomorrow night. Maybe genius Ben can find another DFA player from another team that is hitting .120.

Amazing how little you can do and still keep your job.
