On a totally unrelated note, I was in the drive-thru line at the Bensalem Burger King. Someone in the car behind me yelled out "The Steelers f**** suck!". I laughed because when I looked behind me the guy that did it was probably about 17 and his girlfriend that was driving got so embarrased that she left her place and left.
Anyways, glad to see the farm team doing well. Hopefully the Pens organization goes 2-0 against the Flyers organization this month.

hey, wwgrd...
why has filewich and doaust been scratched?
what were your thoughts on luca? if he puts on his weight and becomes a bit more comfortable with the puck, he's gonna be something decent.
they announced minard as a scratch before the game (which i almost killed somebody), but he ended up playing.

Filewich has an 'upper body injury', some debate about how severe it really is, since he wasn't that strong before that injury.canaan wrote:hey, wwgrd...

I thought Luca, and especially Jeffrey, played great games. Both of them showed that they will be leaders of this team next year.

Filewich has been scratched, due to an injury. He's not a healthy scratch. He took a hard hit in game 2canaan wrote:hey, wwgrd...

Daoust is off of the Baby Pens roster, and he has been loaned to his ECHL team, the Cincinatti Cyclones.
You're right about Caputi. If he can get some size on him, I think he can be a real force.

i met a couple of girls that were clearly wb/s faithfuls. they are a dedicated bunch. they were semi-appalled by the crude nature of the philly women that had children there (her language and what not).eastonpensfan wrote:good job, canaan. if you are interested in coming to a wbs game, let me know and you can come up there with my crew. the WBS atmosphere is something amazing. Only experience better than that is an igloo game itself.

i would love to make a jaunt up to wb/s to the more fun wachovia center.

LOL. the only crowded sections were the center ice seats. I was talking to the bartender at finnegan's wake and he said that playoff games dont get that big of a crowd for some reason. he said that a bunch of the phantom faithful hate going to the wach as opposed to the spectrum.Ron` wrote:Not many people in the stands.
