It was a likely a final ploy to divert suspicion.

It was a calculated risk.MWB wrote:Wasn't it the deciding vote though?
Loaf knew Senka would likely be arrested and it would be revealed that Senka was a wolf. He figured we wouldn't suspect a wolf would vote out a wolf, and so we'd go after Dean Wormer, as the only abstaining vote, instead of him next.

Yeah, Loaf should've jumped on Senka right away to try and take away the suspicion.MWB wrote:Wasn't it the deciding vote though?
I can't believe the village ended up coming back after barely discussing anything at all. Although NAN and I thought the mafia made some questionable decisions on who to kill on a couple nights and in the end, ended up making themselves all look pretty suspicious.

PittPensFan - very quiet mostly...i don't think he was around at all though..i have voted for him before, i am pretty suspicious
Loaf31 - his playing sort of reminds me of what he was like when we we're wolves last game..ie very suspicious
Troy Loney - not mafia
IE - ???
jwienland - ???
dagny - not mafia
wallflower - suspicious
MelicharSux - i've reasoned myself out of suspecting him
Senka - very talkative and interested in the game...if he lasts one more mafia night i think we should arrest him, i would have off'd him by now if i were mafia
Azkar - like i said earlier, him being continually suspicious of me, and me not being mafia makes me think he wouldn't be sticking his neck out like that if he were mafia
Dean Wormer - ???
This is all i'm saying...

I'm pretty sure they arrested melicharsux after that....that was a bad move, but the mafioso inability to find the outlaw killed them in the end.I thought you were going to have them at this point, I couldn't believe when nobody followed you.

Re: **Official MAFIA Gameplay thread**
I enjoyed it since it was my role. The reason I enjoyed it was that I got to decide whether or not I wanted to help the mafia, or keep the information. That was the hardest part.Twisted Wrister wrote:it was, and probably to defect attention.

I got lucky picking Dagny and sdm on the first two, and only two nights I was alive. When the village started throwing out my name during Day 2, that was when I decided I wanted to share the information with the mob.
The game got slow at the end and was a little anticlimatic. But I think this just goes to show that at the beginning, it is a huge crapshoot, and when you get to the final 10, that is where all the information, analysis, etc is put into use and the mob/wolves are captured. Anything before that, either is luck or a bad guy had a noticable f'up.
Good job village. I was PMing beerman during the game, and we both thought the mafia made some questionable killings during the last few nights, taking out all of the people that others that was suspicious, leaving themselves as the only suspicious people.
Mob, what was your thoughts at the end there?
