Have to credit the Effort from this undermanned group tonight.They played their tails off.
Relying on Danton Heinen or Cody Glass for Offense just isn't going to work.Heinen had 2 great chances and didn't finish.
Beauvillier,Hayes and Lizotte were good all night.Gryz was not and Letang is a Non Factor.
Blomqvist stopped a bunch of Breakaways and outside of the bad decision that cost him was solid.
Having Nieto on this Roster had its negative impact on the 1st Flyer Goal.He simply doesn't help this Team.

Laughton did about 3 things that should have been called iate here but got ignored.

That screamed 10 minute misconduct if you didnt want to give us a PP. The fake dropping gloves behind two officials was really brave.

Playing up to the Clown Show Philly Fans and Media.Its something that will never change with every Team Associated with that City.

Really would like to see Tomasino get more ice time, especially with the team missing Sid/Geno/Rust. There is no reason that Tomasino should be playing less than Nieto and Acciari.

I really hope KD can take some of Sully's toys away by the deadline.

This is one of those efforts where, you know your team isn't very good but the effort was solid. A bad bounce/mistake by Blomqvist, an early breakdown, a goal disallowed.

The team didn't play awful. These are more of the types of games we will be enduring over the next few years. Dominated the total effort, but not enough skill to overcome and score enough goals.

And the goalie started the game liked he hasn’t played in 2 weeks because he hasn’t. Three guys playing well for a good AHL team and they are limited by this coach. But at least Nieto got more ice time.
