I know the Lizotte PPG was meaningless, but 3 more power play goals this game. PP has been good all year.

I'd say so. PP looks vastly different and is much, much improved in terms of production

Ok so the million dollar question... Is the power play better because of him or because it's regressing back to a decent mean in that it could not stay as horrendous as it was last year?

Some of both, no doubt, but they're using their Xs and Os differently. The speed and movement is different. They mix it up more in terms of entries.

There also has always been this notion that you can only put up one all-star PP unit and the second unit is just kinda there to kill time. The talent has been split up a bit and as a result that second unit has actually contributed above expectancy.
