Battery life on the new Maxx is significantly better than on the Moto X. Other than that, and the size, I don't see much difference between them.Loaf31 wrote:I have the Droid RAZR MAXX now, and for the most part I have loved the phone. I was looking at the Moto X and the HTC one.

T-Mobile has a crap network, no wonder why they pay people to switch to their service.Sarcastic wrote:How many of you are moving to Tmobile? They are trying to really kick all of their asses with the no contract plans and the last thing I heard they were buying existing contracts from people who are with different networks just so they would switch to Tmobile.

I have an upgrade soon but want to hold on to it.. In the mean time I wanted to get the nexus 5, but it takes the micro sim and I only have the mini in my GS2. Can igo to AT&T and ask for a micro sim?

They also don't charge an arm and a leg like others. This at least provides a good alternative for people and some competition to the rivals. I've had network issues on T-mobile (inability to pass through walls), Sprint (voice quality), and ATT (disconnects) myself.skullman80 wrote:T-Mobile has a crap network, no wonder why they pay people to switch to their service.Sarcastic wrote:How many of you are moving to Tmobile? Re: How many of you own a droid?
They don't charge and arm and a leg because they can't, because they don't have the network to back it up. AT&T and Verizon get away with charging high prices and nickel and diming people because 9/10 they can back up their prices with their network reliability coverage. It sucks, but thats how it goes. I'd love not to give VZW a crap ton of money every month.Sarcastic wrote:They also don't charge an arm and a leg like others. Any thoughts on the HTC One Max? I know its huge and more of a phablet than a phone, but it is intriguing.

The update I received ruined the swipe text. Before the update, I'd say it was about 85-90% accurate. Now I'm guessing I have to check every word.PensFanInDC wrote:Mine updated a week ago and it sucksMRandall25 wrote:So wait, what was the update I received this morning?

If you cancel your number and switch to a new number on a new phone (droid to droid), can you carry over/download your apps that you've paid for on the old phone?

Apps are tied to your Google play account, which is separate from your phone, so I see no issues. At least I had none when I moved from the Droid X to the Galaxy S3.

How do I stop my Android from notifying me every time it performs a random system function?

Amazon store will also let you re-download from the cloud. There are also migrating tools and apps as well, Galaxy S4 to a Note 3 was seamless for my wife. I do wish though it would restore like an iPhone does putting everything back where you had it organized. Maybe it does though and I am doing things wrong.the wicked child wrote:Apps are tied to your Google play account, which is separate from your phone, so I see no issues. Re: How many of you own a droid?
lol Verizon finally released those about a week after my wife got a regular Moto X. She was not happy. But yeah, the Moto X is a really good phone and assembled in the USA.

I'm on AT&T. When are the new phones coming out? Seems like it's been forever since a new phone was released

You can get it on AT&T too, the link is just VZ. As for any new phones, I'd guess it'll be a while.

Re: How many of you own a droid?
I have a Galaxy Note 3 and it's surpassed my expectations in every way. I got it on launch day in October, not sure if people are still looking at them or not.
