I beat Assassin's Creed 2 yesterday. Such a huge improvement over the first game. The story line was pretty awesome, especially if you find all of the glyphs and do those puzzles. If they just add in Batman's combat system, this game would be absolutely perfect. Can't wait for the 3rd one.

The glyphs are driving me mad. I walked around the hospital in Florence looking for that one for half an hour today and still didn't find it.AlexPKeaton wrote:I beat Assassin's Creed 2 yesterday. Started on Dead Space last night. LOVE IT! It's quite scary to play through. You can be walking down a hall and there can be a bad guy sneaking up behind you or even walking straight toward you and there may or may not be any music playing. It really adds to the realism.
Dead Space II is on the cover of the latest Game Informer. Looking forward to finishing this one and picking up the sequel. It also looks like I can easily get 750 gamer points on the first play through.

If you have a 360 get BioShock. One of the best games ever.

Re: Current video game being played
I had one hell of a time getting it installed, but I am about to start Dragon Age.
I had to copy the files off the DVD on another machine, copy those back onto my PC and then run the install... It wasn't reading one of the files properly on my machine so it kept failing... after 30 minutes.
Also playing Zelda: Spirit Tracks... I'm digging it so far.

I keep hearing that I need to play Bioshock. That and Fallout 3 are two that I missed and that I need to get around to, never played either.farnham16 wrote:What games do you like and systems do you have?Malkamaniac wrote:Ok so I'm looking for a new game to play. What would you recommend?

Re: Current video game being played
I played COD MW2 at my brother in laws for a while last night. Three of us were alternating playing online. Last game I spent a lot of time on (shooter) was Halo, and it's a huge difference. I liked it though. Lots of fun even though I was getting my butt kicked regularly. When your aiming sucks, use explosives.
We ended up in a 24 or 30 player game for one round and that was insane. Small level with narrow hallways plus tons of people = lots of dying.
The only thing that kind of sucks is that for PS3, they don't match levels. So you have a crappy gun wit no attachments while the guys you are playing have super guns with awesome attachments.
It was kind of cook all the weird things they gave you points for. I liked the identity thief. I stole a guy's set up that was an awesome sniper rifle then picked off the guy who's set up I stole. I got a ton of points for that.
The kill streak things were a pain too being a new player. Having helicopters and planes picking you off from above while you struggle with a weak machine gun. No bueno.

Fallout 3 and Bioshock are, by far, my two favorite games for 360. I don't care if there is no multiplayer....the games are truly epic.

Better than Phantom Hour glass? I did not care for that game. Too oversimplified (not heart pieces?!)the wicked child wrote:I had one hell of a time getting it installed, but I am about to start Dragon Age.

I'm also more than sick of DS games where I have to blow into the mic.

Yes you really should play BioShock asap. It's like a great piece of art. It's one of the best games I've ever played. So, kindly go pick up BioShock. (That sentence will have a lot more meaning to you if you play the game)slappybrown wrote:I keep hearing that I need to play Bioshock. Haven't played through the whole thing yet, but Spirit Tracks has been better in almost every way. It's been tougher so far and there are heart pieces to collect.Corvidae wrote:Better than Phantom Hour glass? I did not care for that game. I'm almost done completing Lego Batman 100%. Kicked some but over the holiday break. Up to about 93%. Just need to clear a few more boards.
Once I'm done with that, I now have Mario Galaxy, the new Super Mario Bros and Zelda the Twighlight princess for Wii to beat. I still need to finish the Windwaker too for Gamecube.
