Re: SNATCH (the game thread)
blue shaf
I'll pull my vote off shaf for now...i'll go with yellow bcs, but i'm not thrilled with the reasoning on this one.
I would just like to ingrain this into everyone's thought pattern moving forward:
Shaf, IMO, deflected a potential THG bandwagon at the start of the game. I called him out on it when the MWB vote showed up. To me thats enough damning evidence at this point in the game.
1. known seer voted him
2. defended another player at the start.
The interesting part to me, and its probably just because i want to believe i'm right, is that THG popped right after i called shaf out and rallied against him with me....my impression of that is that the reds viewed shaf as a goner and are trying to be proactive and clear themselves by aligning themselves with the vote. I did this with doublem a few games ago and it saved me from being lynched for almost the entire game.

Re: SNATCH (the game thread)
I learned my lesson from last game that it's better to not stir up crap early in the game. There's still a lot of confusion out there and it's needless to be over the top right now when it's difficult to find a strategy of who the bad guys are yet. Unlynch Mac. Lynch Shaf. Color please. Blackberry doesn't have an LGP Games function yet.

Re: SNATCH (the game thread)
Because you lay out what is a pretty good case for shaf at least this early, but then in that same post switch to BCS.
Then you switch back off him when BCS essentially says, it bad to be crazy. Im not understanding what you are up to.
The fact that you are intentionally acting dense -- you know I know what blue player X means, and that I am asking you to explain -- is even more offputting.

i do feel like at this point in the game shaf makes the most sense...but in my post i'm reiterating my thoughts because. I'm not going to try and question people too much this game, because doing that just gets you killed when people argue with you. arguing with someone "causes confusion".

grammar fail. "i'm only reiterating my thoughts, because" is how that should read.

Re: SNATCH (the game thread)
I was hoping it would shift to BCS, but it didn't....
I am Mickey O'Neil...the angel. I get every night protection, and I can protect the same person on consecutive nights.
Like I said, I tried to subtly get a vote going for BCS, but the reds killing MWB placed a bullseye right on me.

I feel like Mickey would be more of an independent character.

Re: SNATCH (the game thread)
we've done a great job lately of singling greens out early in the game.
troy brings up an interesting point here... it's a good move by shaf. if he really is the angel, then he doesn't get lynched, if he's not the angel, his role claim is almost certain to bring out the real angel.

Re: SNATCH (the game thread)
I dont buy this, but im hesitant to vote a claimed RP out at this stage. Eventually, the angel is going to come out one way or another. If we try to vote the real angel out and we get a role claim at that time, thats when we are faced with a true decision. Alternatively, the bad guys happen to kill the real angel, and we then know that shaf is red. Another option is the JOAT taking a look at shad. Otherwise, we can ignore what shaf says in the meantime.

Re: SNATCH (the game thread)
No, the real angel should not come out, and its hardly "certain" to do that. The angel doesnt have to do anything. See my post above. DO NOT COME OUT NOW ANGEL.count2infinity wrote:we've done a great job lately of singling greens out early in the game.

I'm not trying to make a clever move. I think the last time I watched Snatch was like five years ago. I am the angel, and I have every night protection. It really sucks that MWB voted for me the first day.

Re: SNATCH (the game thread)
I just had to, because it was getting close to the limit. I honestly have no way to prove who I am...my role was Mickey O'Neil, and my memory of the movie is hazy to put it mildly.slappybrown wrote:DO NOT COME OUT NOW ANGEL.

We would need to believe that:
1. The seer accidentially voted for the angel, particularly where the seer is someone like MWB who is a well known excellent player instead of just sitting back
2. That this isnt just perfectly timed to escape death at the very end
3. GTFO of my face
Im in the midst of a fever dream, but even I know this sounds like bs.
Despite all of this, theres not really a godo reason to vote for shad right now given the position we are at in the game (early).
