Re: Yahoo Fantasy Hockey League
So being a complete noob at this, let me ask a question:
I can change my lineup daily to account for people playing or not playing and still keep their points for the week, right?
So let's say I have a player that scores a goal and an assist on Monday, but doesn't play until Thursday. I can take him out of the lineup, replace him with someone playing Tuesday or Wednesday, and still keep the goal and assist from the initial player? Or do I lose the score when I pull him out of the lineup?

Re: Yahoo Fantasy Hockey League
but you also need to watch your "Maximum Games" at the bottom of your roster. you're only allowed 170 games at each position (340 for D) and once you reach the limit the stats don't count. saving a few games here and there can help you make a big push in the last few weeks of the season.

Is there a maximum games ceiling? I don't see it.

Its at the bottom of your team page. I don't like it, but I didn't see it until after the season started.

I still don't see it. I see the goalie appearances thing in the keeper league but see nothing about it in the other one.

I see no place in the settings to change it or where it could have changed before the league started

Re: Yahoo Fantasy Hockey League
I see nowhere in the rules where it is in place. Are people in some other league that they're seeing this?

Re: Yahoo Fantasy Hockey League
I doubt it's in the keeper league but it's in the "points" league, "Pittsburgh Penguins 2013-2014"
here's a screen shot:

maybe it's part of the rules in a Points league because every points league I've even been in has had it.

PFiDC's league is H2H. There is no max games. It's only for points leagues.

Yes, definitely change every day...or at least make changes for every day at the beginning of the week.

Re: Yahoo Fantasy Hockey League
I would guess that makes sense in a points league now that I think about it.shoeshine boy wrote:I doubt it's in the keeper league but it's in the "points" league, "Pittsburgh Penguins 2013-2014"

Wassup.
This has been a fun season. I'm a little confused with how scoring works, as it seems to be arbitrary.
Do we have playoffs? I read Yahoo league playoffs started this week (yesterday), but I don't see anything that says that on our league page.

Re: Yahoo Fantasy Hockey League
the non-keeper league doesn't have playoffs because it's a points league rather than head to head.

Our playoffs start the week of 3/31.
It looks like it's just the top four teams.

That's how the football fantasy worked, too. For most of the season, I was in 4th place, and then the Sedin girls decide to get hurt and have their team suck. Vancouver typical.columbia wrote:Our playoffs start the week of 3/31.

Man, I'm right on the cusp.
I don't see how anyone would beat Chef's team (Ocelots) or Pitts' team (I think they're second). Just miles ahead of the rest of us plebians.

It would help if I had any goal tending....I expect to get bounced in the semi-final.

Pitts is actually in first by a sizeable margin. My apologies to Pitts.

Thanks to no one going on IR at this time of the year, I get to stare at Malkin being day to day.
