Even better. I've been given about 4 hours of work to do from home so I don't have to use a whole day of PPL.

Re: KennyTheKangaroo's Thread of Randomness
The university I'm at told me when I started my MBA program that I would need to make one in order to get a job offer from anyone. I really don't think it's make or break, but I have had a few messages from HR people at companies saying they want to talk to me. Once you're in a job, I don't see it as that important. But I agree that it's a pretty standard thing now for most professionals.shmenguin wrote:so what's the deal with linkedin? unless you're in some position where you do a lot of networking, if you put up a profile, aren't you basically telling your company that you're interested in being recruited by somewhere else?

Re: KennyTheKangaroo's Thread of Randomness
I just had wedding clients from about 7 years ago ask me if I still had their photos and, if so, whether I could design an album for them. Thankfully I'm extremely anal about keeping all of my photos (I have around 12 hard drives) and I'm awesome so I can hook them up.

Having a beer or 2 while taking antibiotics (Azithromycin/Zpack) isn't a big deal. What wonderful news.

how long does it take you to get wedding photos back to the couple?Hockeynut! wrote:I just had wedding clients from about 7 years ago ask me if I still had their photos and, if so, whether I could design an album for them. If you are, when I shot weddings, it took anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. The latter figure was in the middle of a crazy busy wedding season with a huge backlog. Generally, around 2 or 3 weeks.

I just looked it up in my medical handbook and it does only count as 2 beers! AND... if you put both in a growler it only counts as 1!shafnutz05 wrote:Nice! Another Kicksave or Godric will arrive to fill the void.
They always do.

I'd like to think those remaining are able to keep their disagreements to one thread, instead of allowing them to spill into other, innocent threads.

Set the profanity filters to block: liberal, conservative, tea, bridge, obama, guns, taxes, libertarian, religion, race, watermelon and chicken and we should be good for a while.
