Not to mention that the "rug" name is now spreading and starting to stick - people are going to wonder where it originated.

probably not a smart idea to test the overlords' powers. this thing could be sniped in a hot robot minute if one would so choose

Until yesterday, I never actually took the time to read the original post. I blankly stared at the screen for a good 10 seconds before I started laughing uncontrollably. I thought "so THIS is why it was floating around for so long!" I also love the first response, simply "...is that a question?"
EDIT: In addition, the only other time I've laughed so hard on this board was when someone stated that Staal should "cast 'haste' on himself." (Final Fantasy reference).

Racchi's rug is kicking tail.
My name is Racchi's Rug. I help the Pens win by watching from the press box.

Should Rex decide to get a rug, which one should he go with?
Number 1
Number 2
Number 3
Or
Number 4
I vote #2

Number 3. The mullet would please the hockey gods. They would grant him a twister wrister and the youth of a 28-year-old.

yes
isotopes014 wrote: and then on the ice when his helmet flips of his balding head is exposed ala Newman
I agree. if his helmet were to flip he would look very much like the character newman
isotopes014 wrote: asking to try on a new hat recently bought from a flea market while trying to pick up a woman complimenting the hat
My sources tell me Mark Recchi picks up women at flea markets constantly.

Now that all the key questions have been answered this thread can finally die

OK, so Racchi's Rug is stumbling down a dark alley. It's had a few drinks and is looking for trouble. It bumps into a guy, shoves him, and says "Get out of my way, old timer."
The man it bumped into is Gary Roberts. It's on.
Winner?

not really feasible. as soon as recchi would've 'bumped' roberts, his heart would've stopped. that's not a tall tale; that's fact.

There's at least three more photoshops coming, so it can't die yet.
