Gonna give Saints Row 4 a shot since I had like 5$ in my sony account + 10% off for the outages over christmas so only had to pay a little over 20$ for it. Enjoyed 3, hoping 4 will be more over the top fun.
Hoping to start Assassins Creed Unity sometime this week finally too hopefully all the bugs has been worked out with the patches. Might pick up Far Cry 4 as well if I see it on sale.

Played AC unity the whole way through... most glitches are gone other than bad guys getting stuck in corners, but even that's not bad. The game itself isn't all that good though.

I consider it one of the best video game remakes ever made.

Not even close. It's almost a completely different game. The inclusion of the crimson heads? lame and unecessary.

Re: Current video game being played
My last rift of the weekend turned out to be a total game changer for my Monk... found an Ancient version of Inna's daibo. Rerolled a useless stat to +DMG%, socketed with Ramaladni's Gift, flawless royal emerald... domination. Already had Inna's Helm, so the set bonuses practically made Sweeping Wind free, among other things... was able to immediately jump from Torment 2 to 4. I need to level a couple legendary gems, find one more piece of Inna's and Sunwuko's Amulet and I will really be in business.

Re: Current video game being played
I haven't been playing D3 much lately, this past weekend, however, it's all I played. Been stuck on T2 for a while, I could probably have jumped up to T3 with the dps I can do, but my recovery would get me killed pretty quickly, it was pretty low. Over the weekend though, I got a 3rd piece of the Tal Rasha set, in and itself wasn't much, but combined with the ring I have which gives me a bonus as if I have 4 of the set pieces, and now meteors rain down on everyone based on which kind of damage I'm doing at that time. And I crafted a wand, which more or less doubled my recovery, so I immediately jumped to T3, got through that pretty handily so I'm on T4 now.the wicked child wrote:My last rift of the weekend turned out to be a total game changer for my Monk... found an Ancient version of Inna's daibo. Do a lot of people buy DLC packs? Titanfall included them, so it was the first time I've ever bought one.

Re: Current video game being played
I do for the Battlefield series, as the base maps and weapons get stale. I bought the Titanfall DLC season pass and the base game on Mexican Origin for about $44, but I wouldn't have bought the DLC at full price. I found Titanfall to be underwhelming, and 2-3 months after release it was difficult to find something other than Attrition matches (on PC that is, YMMV on Xbox).pittsoccer33 wrote:Do a lot of people buy DLC packs? Is it worth it to get the Dark Below expansion for Destiny?

DLC is the worst thing to happen to video gaming since the Dreamcast. I haven't bought DLC since Modern Warfare 2.pittsoccer33 wrote:Do a lot of people buy DLC packs? Titanfall included them, so it was the first time I've ever bought one.

Free DLC is great. An example of this being Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare.
Paid DLC is terrible and splits the player base. An example of this being any Call of Duty.

I just noticed the dig on the Dreamcast. Dreamcast was awesome. Way ahead of its time.dodint wrote:You have terrible, terrible opinions.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:DLC is the worst thing to happen to video gaming since the Dreamcast.pittsoccer33 wrote:Do a lot of people buy DLC packs? Yeah, if it weren't slaughtered by Sony's marketing machine it would have been one of the best remembered systems of all time.

Re: Current video game being played
It's a money grab. I don't blindly buy DLC packs as they come. I first read a review and usually look it up on youtube to see what it is exactly, but it's about... well, I buy them for 1/4 to 1/3 games I play and only if it truly expands the original game. I don't usually care about an extra weapon, rarely about a new character, and never care about some skin. An extra mission if it directly ties into the game, yes.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:DLC is the worst thing to happen to video gaming since the Dreamcast. Not for $20. Wait 'til it drops to $10. I haven't played it yet, mind you. Just reading these reviews.... lol, seems like games like these create more people with OCD than anything else.MRandall25 wrote:Is it worth it to get the Dark Below expansion for Destiny?

Tal Rasha's is legit. I'm rolling w/ that plus Vyr's for my Wizard (and a RORG obviously). If there is an element you don't specifically deal dmg from, make sure your follower has + that dmg on their weapon and then their attacks will trigger that meteor type.stopper40 wrote:I haven't been playing D3 much lately, this past weekend, however, it's all I played. Re: Current video game being played
It's raining fire, ice, arcane and lightning damage. My boots are fire walkers so I'm constantly doing fire damage, meteors come crashing down if a piece of wood catches fire. I can run circles around something, not attack it and meteors come crashing down. Was doing a rift online over the weekend and another wizard had the same damage going. It was something to watch, meteors were constantly raining down on everything.the wicked child wrote:Tal Rasha's is legit. I'm rolling w/ that plus Vyr's for my Wizard (and a RORG obviously).
