Sounds like my kind of game. Seems to be getting pretty decent reviews. Looks like I will have to get it ordered.SolidSnake wrote:Still waiting for a Dyling Light review

Pre-loading BF Hardline Beta as we speak. Beta starts tomorrow. We'll see how this game... <shades on> plays out.

I think I'm going to get dying light. It looks like a fun game, and I need something now that I finished the piece of trash that was AC: Unity.

Re: Current video game being played
Brother in law is all about this now. The controls seem...too tight. It takes too much time to turn and I don't think there is a sensitivity setting to play with. It is a lot deeper than I thought it was going to be. You learn new skills, moves, and how to make better weapons as you level up. I was expecting more of a Left 4 Dead game, but it is a lot more involved than that. I'd recommend it.offsides wrote:Sounds like my kind of game. Seems to be getting pretty decent reviews. Play Action Football... wow. I loved that game. John Elway and whoever the hell the RB was then were deadly.

That room full of neckbeards raised $1,575,000 for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

There might be more, but I honestly can't tell (I'm not trying to be insulting, I'm really not sure).

I was playing FIFA tonight...was there an update? It seems they added a ton of sound effects, most notably the soccer ball sound effect when you kick it

The PS4 PS+ free game for this month is Apotheon. It's a 2D side scroller. The visuals are pretty great and it's surprisingly engaging in surround sound. Worth a look if you're trying to see what gaming could've evolved into had 3D/FPS had not taken over. I enjoy mythology as well so it's cool from that standpoint.

Anyone likes Thief? It's free for PS3. That and Yakuza 4.dodint wrote:The PS4 PS+ free game for this month is Apotheon. It's a 2D side scroller. Jumped from T4 to T5. Got Firebird's gloves and source along with Illusory Boots. You can run through packs and even the walls put up by elites and that's a nice skill to have. I don't have any socketed jewelry, I'm a level 325 wizard and I have never once found Ramaladni's Gift. Anything I socket through the mystic isn't as powerful as the one I'm using now. They do so much critical damage it's almost impossible to get rid of them.the wicked child wrote:I love that effect. I actually have 2 Wizards... both have Tal Rasha's among other things.stopper40 wrote:It's raining fire, ice, arcane and lightning damage. My boots are fire walkers so I'm constantly doing fire damage, meteors come crashing down if a piece of wood catches fire. I can run circles around something, not attack it and meteors come crashing down. Was doing a rift online over the weekend and another wizard had the same damage going. It was something to watch, meteors were constantly raining down on everything.
My main wizard is arcane based and I'm running w/ a mix of Vyr's + Tal Rasha's. I have something like +77% arcane skill dmg and +40% Disintegrate damage, so it basically writes itself. The cooldown on Archon is still around 40 seconds... I'd really like to get that down to make it more viable in grifts. I am currently lacking lit dmg in my assault. I had been using the Wreath of Lightning gem which when it fires is like a mini conduit pylon. However, I replaced it with Esoteric Alteration which gives a nice boost to non-physical dmg reduction, and an insane bonus to resistances when below half life. I need to find a new Stone of Jordan that I can socket so I can also use the WoL again. (I have Bane of the Powerful in my RORG... the +15% dmg to elites and the dmg bonus after defeating an elite pack are real nice.)
My other wizard is fire based... I'm using a mix of Firebird's and Tal Rasha's. I think that long term this wizard might be able to go deeper in the game, but I enjoy the play style much less.

Yeah. I like it because it's hard, but fair about it, and it's pretty short, so I never really get bored playing through itIdoit40fans wrote:Is that the freerunning game?Froggy wrote:I've been replaying Mirror's Edge, so as you can imagine, I've been screaming creative obscenities at my tv a lot in recent days

Transitor is also free. It's not a long game, but I dig it. Has a Bioshock, cyberpunk look to it. Combat is deep, but the story is intentionally vague. Music is damn good, too.dodint wrote:The PS4 PS+ free game for this month is Apotheon. It's a 2D side scroller. The visuals are pretty great and it's surprisingly engaging in surround sound.
