Yeah, that explains why I wouldn't be able to vote, no?

To clarify, when I got back to my computer the npv vote was complete and it was night during the game. I then posted during the next day phase, which was sometime Friday evening.

I'm still ambivilant, but since I am not sold on Troy, and Kraftster seems the better play than NAN, lynch kraftster.
Better late than not at all.

unlynch Troy
lynch Krafster
I hope this doesn't come back to bite me, but Troy hasn't been around all day, and if he was a green player, then he wasn't able to defend himself.
Krafster has been suspicious to me all day, so I guess he's a good Plan B.

Code: Select all
3 - Troy Loney (mac5155, MWB, Krafster)
1 - slappybrown (redwill)
3 - Kraftster (Zarovich, relantel, nan)
Looks like a tie between Krafster and Troy at 3:00.

krafter's move makes sense no matter what he is... self preservation. Nan, your move is a little more dubious though.

Forcing a tie, eh? I tend to agree with NAN on the RP... and more than likely a bad one.Kraftster wrote:save nan

Me neither.MWB wrote:Wow, great.... I don't like how that went down at all.
But if the coin is flipped and it lands on Troy and he turns up green or blue, then I think it is likely Krafster is red.

I'm going to wait for cupkeeper to make the call on what to do. You guys farted around all day, you can wait extra-long for a write-up.

I actually think the opposite. Troy wasn't around all day. I would have at least liked to hear what he had to say.MWB wrote:krafter's move makes sense no matter what he is... self preservation. Nan, your move is a little more dubious though.
Krafster was second to me in suspicion, and he was here, and the more he spoke, the more I felt he was a baddie.
So I'd rather take my chances with someone that was here this late in the game.
Now, if Krafster was blue, I don't like the move as much, because you could be trading in a blue for a green.
If he is red, then it makes perfect sense for him.

I agree that krafster is also suspicious... However, if you and he are both bad you could easily set it up so that you switch and then he switches to force the tie right at the deadline.

No - a regular villager in that spot would have let it be. The goal isn't individual win, it's village win. There's no need to subject the village to random if you are simply blue. I was in this position a game or two ago - I chose to go down rather than create a tie for self-preservation. Turns out the player tied was a green RP - I could not knowingly vote to lynch a green RP. This is why it screams bad to me.MWB wrote:krafter's move makes sense no matter what he is... self preservation. Nan, your move is a little more dubious though.

If you are blue, then it's better to let it be sometimes and take one for the team. Now, if he is green or red, I totally understand from his viewpoint wanted to go into a tie.

Well, if nothing else, being in that spot will prove to be a good learning experience for a noob.

He hasn't played much though so I could see why he'd do it. I'm just suspicious of both of them right now.relantel wrote:No - a regular villager in that spot would have let it be. I know what you're saying though. I was in that same situation a few games ago and was bad and voted to force the tie.

Yeah, people who have been on but didn't vote are also suspicious.
