Are we in the mix for a lottery pick this year?

I can't remember how far the lottery goes but the Penguins are currently at the 10th pick.

I think it’s the top 10. If nothing else finish to get a lottery pick this year and give next years first to SJ.

Pretty sure it’s the top 10 (hence the top 10 protected line), but it is a very weighted lottery. Ideally, you want to be in the top 5 for the best shot at moving up.ejd43 wrote: Thu Mar 07, 2024 10:11 pmI think it’s the top 10. Top 15 or so are supposed to be pretty good. After that there is apparently a pretty steep drop off. So, top 10 should be good

I wasn't praising him, at all. I was pointing out that a Sullivan coached team (with multiple future hall-of-famers) has won one playoff round in seven seasons (none in six), yet he is still praised as a fantastic coach beyond reproach. There seems to be a common theme here, but no one in the organization appears to be able to see it. It's almost as if a bottom six plugger as a player has reverted to the mean as a coach.

So, should the fans in the arena tonight expect a handwritten apology letter from the team for "not showing up"?

Players can cry all they want. They only have themselves to blame.

I can give them a pass for this one game looking like **** because they all knew Jake was in the process of being traded before the game started.
But they have looked exactly like this a lot the last 4 years with no distractions or adversity. This coaching staff continually does not have their teams ready to play.
