Re: **VOODOO WARZ GAME THREAD**
I'd like to get an explanation from cbear as well. I understand there's a benefit in having an independent around, but a game this small isn't going to have a great number of bad guys so there's much more potential to do harm than to help the village.ulf wrote:so... cbear what is your deal? why should we not vote off this orange character? I've seen redwill (or was it columbia) bargain his way through as in independent and win the game before.
We're about 2 hours away from the deadline. Right now, my vote will be going to cbear unless an explanation can convince me otherwise or a better option is presented.

Re: **VOODOO WARZ GAME THREAD**
What would we stand to gain by killing him? You read the write-up. EPP's vengeful spirit killed redwill. CBear protected himself from being attacked by the true baddie(s).

I just went back and re-read it, and I think you're right. I've got to read the write-ups more closely.MRandall25 wrote:What would we stand to gain by killing him? You read the write-up. EPP's vengeful spirit killed redwill. CBear protected himself from being attacked by the true baddie(s).

Re: **VOODOO WARZ GAME THREAD**
I am going to wait until we hear from Cbear about his role before I place a vote.
That said, I am still suspicious of those that voted for rylan over obhave. I tend to believe shad, and I think canaan read into Mrandall's vote on Kraftster as the seer. That leaves mac, who hasn't explained his vote so far if I recall correctly.
Of course I was completely wrong of EPP so what do I know.

Redwill voted for Rylan, if we need further proof of how weak that theory is. Players are a lot smarter (and more subtle) these days.

It's not that, redwill obviously had no idea. The reds know who the other reds are. In a close vote, you'd have to think they didn't all vote for obhave.

So that leaves us with mac, shaf, and canaan... all of whom voted for EPP on Day 2.ulf wrote:It's not that, redwill obviously had no idea. The reds know who the other reds are. In a close vote, you'd have to think they didn't all vote for obhave.

Re: **VOODOO WARZ GAME THREAD**
I'll stick with the facts. Redwill was a Green with Seer abilities and he voted Canaan with me. It could be nothing, but at this point worth investigating.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:I am going to wait until we hear from Cbear about his role before I place a vote.

I don't really see the vote for canaan, tbh. tfrizz has been consistently trying to narrow the vote down to the three or four people (including myself, admittedly) that voted for Rylan on the first day. While it's obviously not always the case, I just get suspicious when someone continuously tries to narrow everyone's vote choices down to a small group, because it looks to me to be an attempt to buy several extra days.

Re: **VOODOO WARZ GAME THREAD**
That principle makes some sense in general, shaf, but I'd be shocked if there wasn't at least one red on the Rylan vote. ulf and Troy (I think) have also been pointing things in the general Rylan vote direction too.
I like canaan because of the fact that he was a big third vote on Rylan and thg makes a good point on redwill. If it was either one thing alone, I think I might be less impressed with that vote, but I think it does make sense here.

Re: **VOODOO WARZ GAME THREAD**
Canaan actually came in fourth on the Rylan voting, so I can actually see some credence to the vote for him. He voted for Rylan shortly after Redwill did, so perhaps he waited to pull the trigger on the deflection vote until it actually looked like Rylan had a decent chance of acquiring enough votes to be strung up? (i.e., he didn't want to show his hand too early in the process).
