Can never tell. People actually believe smart folks 'think they're better than everyone else.' Like, you know, in high school.

You'd be amazed how much that attitude prevails in the adult world. I just laugh, know they're stupid, and move on with my day.dodint wrote:Can never tell. People actually believe smart folks 'think they're better than everyone else.' Like, you know, in high school.

Re: The Weather Thread
Local news had a weather map showing where the line between sub-zero and warmer weather is going to be tomorrow. It crosses me about 100mi north and rides across the lakes, and then dips hard down to the PA/WV borders. So it'll be significantly colder in Pitt tomorrow than here. *chuckle*

Saw a dude biking in to campus today (Not sure how far he came from, but still had 2 miles to go). Pretty hardcore.

Ice storm coming to Charlotte, wonderful. Fully expect to lose power tonight and into tomorrow.
And you would think by now that the climate change zealots would figure out not to have protests in the winter because it's usually cold.

Just talked to our Nashville station, 1/2 inch of ice already down there and expected to get 10" of snow. Wowzas.

Tulsa got hit with about half an inch of ice and about 2 inches of snow. Some ******* in a pickup truck came barreling down the highway and was about a foot away from my bumper. Mind you I'm going 30mph on ice and snow. He flies around me, then... I get to watch the prick slide into an embankment. It's the small things in life you enjoy... :pop:
