I wouldn't have survived the hearts at the end no matter what - had too many of them. My only other thought was to lead a spade and hope redwill had high spade.

So you had the last trump right?

I also had the King of Spades and Diamonds remaining. It's hard to win those hands where your bidding a lot based on your partners hand. tough to play in a way that doesnt just drain all your trump.

Sorry, rel. This is completely on me. I screwed up on the lead card. I had six spades and should have known the odds were high that one of Troy/WK would not have any spades. Yet stupidly I lead the AS.

Yes, the J Spades. Felt it best to hold that in reserve since no one else had any trump left at that point.

It's alright. I overbid myself based on the original hand - I thought I had the JS, AC + 3 clubs, but turned out I only had two other clubs.
