Been seeing some of these knockoffs which would be interesting if they end up being the outdoor jerseys:

Well jeff, I told you I was working on taking pics of my collection, but it definitely took a lot longer than I expected.
Worked most of the past year recustomizing quite a few of them when I had free time so that they were accurately detailed, and spent the last few weeks photographing/uploading. (I have two projects that are not pictured that I have to finish still, that will be sent to Keener soon as the work needing done isn't sewing... *girlie scream of excitement*)

The collection is looking SWEET Haze! Those late-80's/early-90's black road jerseys are the one and only that I'm looking to complete my collection with. I've put together a plan to get some stuff done with my upcoming birthday and Christmas coming!blurryhaze312 wrote:Well jeff, I told you I was working on taking pics of my collection, but it definitely took a lot longer than I expected.

And patches: https://www.flickr.com/gp/pensjerseys/1WnK3S
- Birthday: Get a 2016 SCF patch put onto my team issued Vegas Gold white Pens jersey. I bought a 2011-12 team-issued #72 Stefan Fournier jersey, then had HoH replace the name plate to "HORNQVIST." The only "jersey foul" part of this is that the GW tag inside the rear hem will read 2011-12 and there's a RBK Vector logo that was overpatched with the "Reebok" logo. I'll have HoH add that SCF patch and we'lre good to go.
- Birthday: Have HoH add the Pittsburgh Bicentennial patch to my Olli Maatta Reebok Edge 2.0 jersey (http://jeffshly.weebly.com/2014-15-reeb ... aatta.html).
- Birthday: Have Keener Jerseys customize a XXL replica of the 2000-01 WBS Penguins home jersey to match Mario Lemieux's jersey from the original Black and Gold Game. I have it all packed up and ready to ship tomorrow!
- Christmas: Get the new white Reebok Edge 2.0 white road jersey from HoH, complete with the Pens "50 Years" patch. I'm not sure if I want it to be customized as a Kessel jersey of a Cullen jersey with the Alternate Captain's "A," but I have time to figure that one out.
Once these are done, I'll be updating my jersey website (http://jeffshly.weebly.com/).
I'm looking for a decent deal on a late-80's/early-90's road jersey, preferably blank so I can have "77 COFFEY" or "12 ERREY" with the "A" customized on it. And I'm considering buying an Edge 2.0 Stadium Series jersey (I have the replica now). Once I get those, I'll have an authentic of every jersey the Pens have work since 90-91.

Thanks!
Maybe hold off a bit on that new away jersey if you want...I hear there might be a league-wide 100th anniversary patch used, which could possibly alter the placement of our patch. Who knows. Supposedly it's going to be worn during the entire 2017 calendar year, starting in January. We'll see how reliable the person is that I saw said it the other day.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Penguins Jersey & Gear Discussion Th
I was wondering about that 100th year patch. I remember the 75 and 25 patches coming out at the same time back at the beginning of the 91-92 season, so I figured maybe the NHL held off on their 100th Anniversary patch in favor of a "100th season" patch, which would fall a year later due to the season lost to the lockout. I guess we'll wait and see, but I have to think something will be announced sooner than later.blurryhaze312 wrote:I hear there might be a league-wide 100th anniversary patch used, which could possibly alter the placement of our patch. Does anyone know wear I can find a kids 5T Bonino shersey? My daughter loves him and I can't find one online or in stores anywhere. I live 2 hours from Pittsburgh, so I can't make it to the arena.

A quick look around tells me that Pens jerseys only come in "even" toddler sizes, like 2T and 4T. My advice would be to go to the nearest Dick's Sporting Goods and, assuming they have some kind of hockey jerseys (all teams will be sized the same), have your daughter try them on to determine if a 4T or a Youth Small fits best. From there, you can order the jersey customized with "13 BONINO" from Dick's or IceJerseys.com or many other outlets. You may have a hard time finding a Bonino jersey that small. Good luck!Defence21 wrote:Does anyone know wear I can find a kids 5T Bonino shersey? My daughter loves him and I can't find one online or in stores anywhere. Re: Official Pittsburgh Penguins Jersey & Gear Discussion Th
Thanks -- given how quickly she grows, I'm not looking to get her a customized jersey, especially of Bonino, who might not even be on the team next year. She's got an old James Neal Jersey that fits her quite well and a much larger Malkin jersey that she can grow into. For now, though, she loves Boninio, and I was hoping to find her a shersey.jeffshly wrote:A quick look around tells me that Pens jerseys only come in "even" toddler sizes, like 2T and 4T. blurryhaze312, thanks again for turning me on to Keener Jerseys! They just sent me pics of what my Lemieux Black and Gold Game replica is going to look like and their lettering is spot on. I picked up the jersey a few weeks back, sent it to them, and they turned the lettering pretty quickly!jeffshly wrote:- Birthday: Have Keener Jerseys customize a XXL replica of the 2001-02 WBS Penguins home jersey to match Mario Lemieux's jersey from the original Black and Gold Game. I posted the pics they sent me, along with those of the Wheeling Nailers gamer I just picked up, on my website. Check them out!

I picked up a Matt Murray size 46, new with tags for 70$. Did I get a good deal or am I missing something? Seems odd to sell it so cheap, even though its only the Indo Edge.....I have been looking for a size 46 Indo Edge for a while, so I am hoping its a legit pickup!

Re: Official Pittsburgh Penguins Jersey & Gear Discussion Th
Lesky, at first glance, this looks like a real Indo-Edge jersey. The name bar is a little off, as it seems they used a different material that what's on the jersey to make it (in other words, AirKnit jerseys will use AirKnit material to make the nameplates). But for the price, I'd say you got yourself one heck of a nice jersey! And best of all, it'll fit you!! I wish I had seen this one. A 46 is way too small for me, but I'd have snagged it up for my daughter!Lesky wrote:I picked up a Matt Murray size 46, new with tags for 70$. Did I get a good deal or am I missing something? And it arrived two days early!! http://jeffshly.weebly.com/2001-sp-wilk ... mieux.html Keener Jerseys really did a fantastic job on this one. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to get an "oddball' lettering job done!jeffshly wrote:Hey, thanks! I can't wait to see it when it gets here! That really turned out very nicely.
They tweeted a picture of your jersey: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Just as a heads-up, the html code on your page has a bad link for Keener. It's showing as http://http//www.keenerjerseys.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; .

This jersey Lemieux wore sold on ebay for 3325$

Does anyone know where I can buy the exact Penguins 50 years patch Lemieux had on the jersey? And not some cheap knockoff?

The only one I can find is this one below, and thats not even close to the one Lemieux wears.

I need to get me one of these. Always wished the NHL club would use this logo at some point, way before WBS Penguins even existed.

The league denied that logo, saying it was too "violent".FLPensFan wrote:

Of course then then went on to approve the Miami Panther leaping at your face with his fangs and claws bared...
The San Jose Shark biting a hockey stick with its monstrous teeth...
But a frowning Penguin? Think of the children!!!!!!

I like the touch of red on the gloves, but I've never been a fan of how overbearing the golden triangle is. It feels odd compared to the big team logo.

Not too long ago, I went on their online store to check those out. They have the blanks listed for $125. Large- sold out. XXL- sold out. No XXXL. I can't fathom being sold out of team merchandise.FLPensFan wrote:
