lol. don't get me wrong, I love it. But, I think you are waaay (x3) overvaluing what you're looking at.

My dinky little Saturn has no problems in the snow.

I just cranked the daily (out front on the street and it was just fine going around). However, out back there are 15 cars up and down the alley and the only tire tracks are my attempt. The drifts are up to 4 feet now back there in the skinny alley (also on a hill). If something manages to get out without running into something, it's not getting back in.

because we have tons of transplants from the south that aren't built for the cold.

Actually I'm not sure of the real reason. I don't have anything that requires me to be here, like training, conference support, etc., so I have no problem with it.
