As a day one subscriber with no lulls in my subscription, they can take their emojis and shove it.

Just listened to the Steve Austin podcast with Wade Keller and they both said they liked Fastlane.
Almost sounds like they're carrying water. Fastlane was terrible...

Because of sign placement after the number and **** eyesight, I originally read that as 25¢skullman80 wrote:I got a 25$ coupon in my email today to use at wwe Shop for being a network subscriber since day 1.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
So this is just a guess...Since Brock Lesnar already rulled out a UFC return, WWE probably offered him a low balled contract to stay with WWE after Wrestlemania.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
But with football players skill matters. More skill/better player means increased potential to win do to them being actual competitions. Wrestling is more ... actors doing physical things. There is NO direct connection between skill and sports entertainment. A level of physical ability sure, but actual skill level, no. Never has been, never will be. College wrestling, sure. UFC, sure. Pro-wrestlers/sports entertainment super-star "pushes", or lack there of, will always closer resemble movie stars and their box-office draw than major league sports athletes and their skill level.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:yes that's why but that doesn't mean they're good.Jim wrote:So... their target demo like them... doesn't that answer why they get the push?MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:As long as Vince is in control were going to have Cena clones shoved down our throats. Its so obvious that every male over 15 can't stand Reigns and Cena but they sell so much merch to young kids and women that its an easy cash cow.
**** you Vince
it's like the Browns drafting Manziel over Bridgewater. Bridgewater is better but Manziel sells jerseys.
There are a ton of wrestlers better than Reigns but Reigns sells so he'll be pushed before Rollins, Ambrose, Ziggly Puff, etc.
A more accurate analogy than the football one would be when someone in a movie does something stupid, do you think, "awe man... why did she go in that room? You know the killer is in there! If only they had hired a better actress she would have known not to go in that room!" Yet, there are 5 Paranormal Activity movies, 7 Saw movies, etc. ... because they sell...

Yeah. It was the best match on the card. One of the best 4 way matches ever, regardless of gender. Sasha Banks is pretty legit.TheHammer24 wrote:Wow. The women's title match at takeover was so so so good.

Actually from the Cheap Heat podcast she kind of has a golden ticket because if Punk being her husband. She knows she won't be on TV until the lawsuit with punk is over. Also she knows she most likely won't be fired because it'll look like retribution for who she's married to. She's in a zone of being almost untouchable right now.FreeCandy44 wrote:So AJ is as good as gone after her comments right?

@StephMcMahon Your female wrestlers have record selling merchandise & have starred in the highest rated segment of the show several times,
There's no way this is true, right...?

Not recently no, but in prior years yes. There was a time that Trish/Lita main evented a Raw back in the day(Lita damn near broke her neck in this match). I'm sure they move a ton of merchandise as well.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:A.J. ✔ @WWEAJLee

The difference with JR on commentary is astonishing too, someone who actually calls a match and respects the performers but still gets excited.

I like the narrative of Reigns failing a PED test. Who knows if it's true.

I am really really really over the Yes chant. Its just so forced anymore and that DB push aint coming. Not fault of his tho he's said on different occasions they are telling him to do it as much as possible. Then the brass turns around and says he's not over, its just cause the fans like things to chant.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
No idea why I'm watching Smackdown. Swagger comes out, a guy who's had his ass handed to him by Rusev 10 times over, and for some reason is trying to goad him into a rematch with Cena. Which we knew was coming any way. "You won't give John Cena a rematch?! What's a matter, scared??" Um, he just beat Cena 5 days ago Jack.
Oh and look, Swagger gets embarrassed by Rusev again.
