I like Rusev too. He's really nimble for a guy his size. You never see jump kicks from heavy weights like that and he looks good doing them.
His shtick is a little Cold War era, but I guess he can replace Beeg and Kane as a muscle heel

I feel like the WWF of old would have made Rusev a great top heel. As such, he is a milquetoast mid carder

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
rusev's in ring work is extremely underrated. next time you see him wrestle, pay attention to how he sells injuries. if someone takes out his leg, he doesn't forget about it 30 seconds later. i appreciate little stuff like that.

I randomly saw Kurt Angle hanging out with his family in the kids play area at the Robinson mall today. I didn't want to bother him, though. Pretty random.

I remember seeing Kurt at Kennywood maybe 2004/2005. He had the thickest neck ive ever seen on a person.

Angle was arrested for stalking his ex wife and he's still never reached the atmosphere of rock bottom Virgil has or is at. The two don't even compare.FreeCandy44 wrote:I wonder if Virgil and Kurt Angle ever hung out?

I can't believe they let him lose last year. Talk about destroying 20+ years of awesomeness. It means absolutely nothing now.Pavel Bure wrote:

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
You talking about the streak? Who else better to end it? It had to happen some how. And if I remember correctly they hit each others finishers a few times and Brock won and a roll up or something like that. You don't get those shocking moments too much anymore. My mouth immediately dropped and my hands were on the top of my head in shock, much like most of the people in the room I was with. Havent had that feeling as a wrestling fan in a long while, whether you agreed with it or not. It was a shock. For once in years you didn't know how was going to happen or whenShe'sTheFastest wrote:I can't believe they let him lose last year. Talk about destroying 20+ years of awesomeness. It was pretty obvious. Taker was a broken down mess even before he got hurt. They should have stopped at 20-0.DudeMan2766 wrote:You talking about the streak? Who else better to end it? A washed up WWE legend defeating a trained MMA champion, in anything outside of chess or parcheesi, would have been too much for my delicate kayfabe to handle
