Trust me, my eyes are open and I see very clearly the Sabres are just a better team. However my point is this is the playoffs, the only way for the Flyers to have a chance is to dictate the physical play and force them into a street fight. If that means going after Cambell for a "clean" hit or getting in thier heads than the refs have to allow them some leadway instead of protecting the Sabres. This is hockey not basketball, the refs are protecting the Sabres because they can't do it themselves.

So, your saying that for your Flyers to be able to compete and win, the refs should look the other way while the "boys" beat the snot out of Buffalo for a few minutes to beat them into submission. Get real. By your own admission this is hockey...but it isn't the WWF. The Flyers are getting beat by a better HOCKEY team. If they are going to allow a clean hit by an opponent to beat them, then they do not deserve to win this series, let alone a game.

I'm actually more curious to see what Lindy Ruff's comments do to this series. That just may be the straw that break's Buffalo's back.

Really? I listened to/watched most of the game. I'd say it's more like the Flyers cant keep up with the Sabres.

They're spending a little too much of their time trying to hurt the Sabres and play dirty. They should spend more time focusing on hockey and trying to score some goals themselves.

Otherwise, Hecht and Co. will continue to slip right through the fingers of those trying to make that "game changing hit".

Philly's own style is coming back to bite them, and it's obvious. Ruff has honed his team very well, Hitch has yet to make any change.

BTW I think that person with the story that a Flyers fans said the hit on RJ was dirty ( it was a head shot) may be correct. If that's Gauthier hitting Briere he's suspeneded. I also don't buy the fact someone would reply with "Crosby sucks". Just another made up story.

You have just gained major points in my respect book. A fan that admits the real reason why his team is getting fleeced. I actually hope the flyers see the light and do move forward in the new NHL. Nothing like a good rivalry.

Well then that Flyers fan was an idiot, which isn't surprising, I deal with them every day on our board. Crosby certainly doesn't suck. Are you sure you didn't confuse Crosby with Pens because then they'd be correct?
