A jellyfish with Polio could score 96 points in the Q

Not in recent years. It's not quite as offense-driven as it used to be. Not since one of two teams lacking offensive talented started having success by playing defense.meow wrote:A jellyfish with Polio could score 96 points in the Q

Hate to root for Boston, but that goal puts a smile on my face.

I don't particularly care for boston, but I don't understand the hate for them.

Calgary's another team that will be in the race for Connor McDavid. Their team is so... lacking.
Looking forward to see how Monahan, Gaudreau, and Granlund play, though. (Edit: The Granlund I'm curious about plays for the Wild. Oh well.)

I think it would be really funny if Edmonton won the lottery.
Burke would implode.

The Kings' opening ceremony has to be at least 25% just rubbing this in for the Sharks. Hilarious.

I feel like the Habs could have retired two numbers in this time.

Still shorter than the average Leafs ceremony.

This is about the length of the average pregame for their 100th season.Fast B wrote:I feel like the Habs could have retired two numbers in this time.

I bet the Kings are glad that they didn't pull the trigger on that Malkin trade.

Lifting the Cup in game 1 of the regular season seems a bit tacky to me...but I guess they earned it?

Kopitar had 21 assists in the playoffs last year....that wasn't the most since Gretzky in 93. Malkin had 22 the year the Pens won it all. You would think NBC sports would have that right.

Got home late to watch the Flyers lose their opener in the final minutes. An awesome start to the season.

Stick tap. Now, earn that raise. Nobody cares what you did last season. See Ovie, dish puck to Ovie. Make Ovie happy.Tico Rick wrote:Niskanen led All Caps defenseman with 26 min. of ice time tonight. Good for him.

Re: Other NHL games 2014-2015 season
For selfish reasons, I would like to see Burakovsky back in Erie after 9 games in Washington. But man is he going to make it tough for Washington not to keep him. Kid has a laser shot...probably the hardest wrister in the OHL last year. He's going to be a goodie...
