Get out. That is eminently difficult to do. I certainly have never come close
every game of contra plays out the exactly the same way. guys pop up and shots are fired at the same moment every time. it doesn't take long to get the patterns down.

There was a time I was so good at Super C that I could do that. Like you said they are in the same place every single time. Pattern recognition/memorization.

I must stink at NES games, I have really only beaten Mario 2-3 and Captain Skyhawk.

You never beat Contra? I mean, I'm not beating it without losing a life but the 30 lives code makes it almost a gimme...

Did you do it by yourself, because it is almost impossible with two players at the same time.

I remember late night sessions playing all the mega man games back in the day. Having friends over and renting them from giant eagle and returning them like a week late after we finally beat them. Fun times.

Yeah I could see doing it solo....still really difficult but doable if you really had the patterns down I guess, but two players would be impossible pretty much without losing a single life.

I always enjoyed using the game genie to fly through games. Made games like TMNT and Bad Dudes so much more fun.
