I love Archer. I don't know which episodes you have seen, but I'd say that Skytanic has been my favorite so far.canaan wrote:I started watching Archer--good times.
I'm looking forward to Justified as well, and its nice to see a fellow lover of The Shield. I believe I remember reading that Walt Goggins (Shane) is only a guest star for the first episode of Justified, but I could be wrong.steve784 wrote:I'm looking forward to Justified on FX, I think it starts next week. 2 of my top 5 shows in recent memory (The Shield and Sons of Anarchy) came from the same network and look to be of similar mold, so I'm pretty psyched. Plus, Shane from The Shield is in it.
I recently bought the entire the full series DVD set of The Shield. I'm liking the show even more now that I don't have to wait months between seasons. There was a ton of stuff that happened in the early seasons that I had completely forgotten about by the end of the show.
Here's how my weekly TV schedule shapes up:
Monday:
Chuck
Damages (Awesome show on FX)
Tuesday:
Justified (starts next week)
Wednesday:
Modern Family
Psych
Thursday:
Community
The Office
Archer
Also looking forward to The Pacific, which starts in a couple of weeks on HBO.

I just pirated the first 3 episodes of V. I want to smack around the writers for being cliche'd idiots, but the hotties are keeping me into the show. I wonder if a network TV writer is capable of actually writing a show without a lawyer, doctor, or cop/FBI agent? I don't think they are. Drives me insane to the point of rage.

Re: TV Shows
The only series shows I really watch with any regularity are:
Breaking Bad
Mad Men
The Adult Swim lineup (KOTH, Family Guy, Robot Chicken)
The Simpsons
...
I do watch the following, don't know if you classify them as "series" shows.
House Hunters International
Cake Boss
Deadliest Catch
Cash Cab
Kendra (Yes, my guilty pleasure low brow show. I liked "Girls Next Door" too)
That's about it.

Re: TV Shows
Wow you guys watch a ton of TV lol.
I watch Lost, True Blood, and Californiacation, none of which are on in the same season. So basically I only have 1 hour of TV I watch a week besides Pens games lol.

Modern Family, Office, Scrubs, Community, Castle, Bones.
Those are the shows I watch depending on season.
None of them are watched live or even weekly though. I catch up on them when I can, usually in 4-5 episode blocks.

Re: TV Shows
I have my TV schedule laid out pretty well, and download all the shows as well.
Sunday: The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Cleveland Show
Monday: How I Met Your Mother, Accidentally on Purpose, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, CSI Miami, House
Tuesday: Nothing
Wednesday: Criminal Minds, CSI NY, Modern Family
Thursday: Supernatural
Friday: Numbers
Saturday: Nothing -- well, HNIC
Looking forward to a new episode of Supernatural tonight, finally. They went from mid-November to late-January with no new episodes, aired 2 new ones, then went from mid-February to today with no new ones again. It's basically been 2 episodes in the past 5 months

I watch South Park. It was left off my list because the new season was not airing yet. Breaking Bad was absent for the same reason. The Ricky Gervais Show would also be added to my list as it is a recent discovery.Be1isarius89 wrote:Guess nobody watches South Park.

Re: TV Shows
So...I watched the pilot of Community and thought it was awful.
I watched the few eps on On Demand the other day...and I really changed my opinion on it. It's pretty damned funny. Joel McHale is actually the weakest link, I think.
I watched the pilot of Parenthood as well...I'm amazed it's not an Aaron Sorkin show. It's pretty good.

Currently: LOST, South Park, The Sarah Silverman Program, Life, Mythbusters, The Pacific, SNL, Deadliest Catch (starts again soon), Skins, No Reservations, RAW, Smackdown, NXT, 19 Kids and Counting (grab a buddy, a drink, and let the hate flow).
Out of season: True Blood, Weeds, Dexter, Man vs Food.
Will watch when I see it's on: Cash Cab, Jeopardy, Diners Drive-ins and Dives (though I really hate Guy Fieri).
I think that's it.

I don't know how someone could have disliked the first episode. You should be deprived of oxygen for the next 4 hours.jaysmiter wrote:So...I watched the pilot of Community and thought it was awful.
