Since people seem to be so about the OP, please bother to read what he is asking about.

It's a FREE plugin that message board owners can use to enable mobile device access for their forum:

BTW, did I mention that it's FREE?

The $3 is if you choose to purchase the app, that enables you to take advantage of that type of access to a board.

That $3 doesn't go to the board, it goes to the creator. I'd rather donate to the board, but it's purely an aesthetic point. I've used it in the past for forums I've done.

sigh, woot doesn't actually have to implement things on the board so a third party system can be used.

I'm simply stating that time still costs something. Whether it be personal time or not. This app isn't free in that term, to do the work on the board, and then not gain any monetary value from it.

Not at all Tapatalk related, but certainly forum related. I've used the message board with my Droid X since getting it back in October and it always defaults to the normal (default) black and gold/yellow theme (which I prefer to the mobile).

I login the other day with my new ZuneHD and it defaults to the mobile theme (which is fine because the screen is smaller). I'm curious as to why when mobile OS defaults to one but not the other.

The board script picks up your user agent string [http://www.useragentstring.com/] and then defaults to the mobile version if there's a matching element. The Droid X isn't being picked up as a phone.
