Does it really make a difference if the sun sets at 6 in December and January, than setting at 5? Wtf are you going to be able to accomplish with that?
Driving home in the dark depresses the living hell out of me.
Same here. All about that permanent DST.

Is Daylight Savings time how it is in the winter or how It is in the summer? I like how it is in the summer.

I voted no change. I dont care if it gets dark early in nov-feb im usually indoors anyway

We're in Daylight Saving Time right now. Normal time is the horribleness of winter.

So do I have this right, if we stay on DST forever, we would have light until around 6-7pm in the winter but the sun wouldn't come up until closer to or even after 8am?

Yeah, but who cares. I'd already have been at work for an hour. Beats driving home in the dark.

While I admit the time changes have taken an actual toll on me way more than it ever has in my life, I like the variety. Same reason I like living where I do. All four seasons. When I get home from work and its still hours of daylight left I always feel like I have to be doing something, so that mentality causes me to stay up later. When it gets dark early, I don't really like it, but I'm usually more scheduled and I get my stuff done around the house, and what have you and to bed at a decent time. Maybe I'm half parrot I dunno. It gets dark and I get tired.

I mentioned before to just make the last shift a 30 minute shift as a compromise. Even the loudest detractor would look silly complaining about 30 minutes.

The entire world would need to change though if we did 30 minutes.

How am I supposed to properly celebrate the exact time of the Easter Bunny's birth, if they keep messing with the clock?

Can we shift the months as well? Seems to be warm later in the calender. Maybe throw a leap month in or something.

Meh, nothin better than waking up at 7 am on a Saturday and getting outdoor work done. Then you can start drinking at noon, nap, and be good to go.

I think they should just pick one and stick with it. Switching hours makes no sense to me. What do I care what number it says on the clock.

I think we should add 2 more savings times and make them drastic time differences that only last one week or just a couple days.

World Women's day was on Sunday which was the shortest day of the year. Time changes are sexist.
