Sort of agree with the idea that Jesse will smoke out Walt by identifying someone else as Heisenberg... Todd, Lydia, someone that is less capable... which I think was the point of the Todd & family opening of the last episode; new management is sloppy. I think Walt destroys his own house after he fully devolves into his Heisenberg persona... loses everything, and finally exposes himself.

I also think that Walt's call to Todd was not meant for Jesse... not sure who, but I think the next death will be a major twist.

Yeah, we all know that... so?
Going along with the convo if Jesse or someone taking the credit as Heisenberg.

There was clearly some other issues at the house beyond being abandoned. It was fenced in, some damage and someone spray painted Heisenberg. So it seems like a stretch.

Of course I wouldn't put it beyond the writers to build it into the storyline to make it look like Walt is clearly outed.

You never know with this show which is why it's so freakish good.

Could it be that Walt calls Todd because he wants to get rid of Skyler?

I was just thinking about how it's a little odd (but not really, considering Hank's long-term obsession with Heisenberg) that Jesse presumably spilled the beans on the whole meth operation (Todd, Lydia, Madrigal, etc.), and the DEA (as represented by Hank and Gomie) is exclusively focused on catching Walt, who by his own admission and Jesse's testimony, is out of the game. Wouldn't they prioritize (again, setting aside Hank's obsession) busting the big ongoing meth business?

This leads me to think Todd, Lydia, and the neo-Nazi crew might very well target Jesse of their own accord, once they realize he snitched. They might even target Walt, since he has the goods on them also and could conceivably rat them out as part of a plea deal. This doesn't explain Jesse's new plan to get Walt, but it could explain why the White house was trashed and why Walt goes into hiding, and then returns with a very big gun.

Yeah, they were pretty vague about that, but I thought I remember there was explicit mention of the murder of that kid in the desert (Drew Sharp?) and the Vamonos Pest company being complicit in their cooking.

what's interesting about the flash forward is that in less than a year, the Heisenberg case can't be very important to the DEA anymore. i doubt that there would be kids casually hanging out on walt's property if there was any sort of big trial or investigation still going on. they also made no mention of how "on the record" hank's case is right now. Gomez's presence was suspiciously unexplained. so theoretically, hank and gomez could get wiped out in some shoot out by todd & the nazis, and the case disappears.

I hadn't either until I was typing it out. It kind of opens a whole new political angle of interpretation...

I don't remember any part of the confession other than the camera set up and then Gomie and Hank asking each other if they believe him. I must have not been paying enough attention.

That's all there was. He could have told them anything.

I don't think it was the actual confession. I think Hank and Gomez were talking after the confession, and one said to the other something like, "So, do you believe all this stuff about the Drew Sharp murder and Vamonos Pest?"

Or all that he knows... Walt was not particularly truthful with Jesse.

I'm inclined to think Jesse told all he knows, based on his actions and what Hank talked about after. He told about the Sharp kid, he mentioned Walt poisoning the other kid earlier, and the pest thing at least. I just think he told all.

Based on the flash forward, at some point it become common knowledge, at least on the street, who Heisenberg is. I don't think the DEA knowledge goes beyond Hank and Gomie, even in the future. I don't see this as being a police case in any way, just based on the show to this point.

Of course the confession is a mystery but some stuff he must have said was brought out through the show.

Jesse definitely mentioned the company as Hank referenced it as well as a murder (can't remember which one).

If he is talking about the company he had to have gotten in depth. Especially since Hank already knew about Gus.

If anything the plot line could reveal a specific item Jesse left out but he had to revealed a lot.

Nah, he probably didn't, cuz I think Hank called him a "Druggie-murderer" or something along those lines.

Yeah, the druggie-murderer makes me think that Jesse really did spill everything.

Didn't he only call him "murderous"? In any case, Jesse's been witness/accessory in so many murders that Hank probably wouldn't bother to make much of a distinction.

He calls him a 'Junkie Murderer', in reference to the 'kid' dribbling on his bathroom floor.

Was reading about some of the titles and descriptions for the last 4 episodes:

Episode 513 “To’hajiilee” - Both the location of Walt's money and he and Jesse's first cook
Episode 514 “Ozymandias” - Poem about a fallen empire and a statue of its king.
Episode 515 “Granite State” - New Hampshire is the Granite State...
Episode 516 “Felina” - Interesting theory I could find on this one is that if you break out the elemental symbols here -- Fe Li Na -- its Iron, Lithium & Sodium. You could interpret this as essentially 'Blood Meth (lithium is an ingredient in Jesse's pseudo cook) Tears'.

This is really weird, and I have no idea where I remember this from, but I thought I recall reading somewhere that they had licensed the song El Paso for use in this final season. This might be a spoiler, if my bizarre memory is correct so...
Spoiler:
This is where my hours spent listening to Grateful Dead tapes in high school and college might be (minimally) useful. The song is set in the Old West about a guy who falls in love with a Mexican girl, Felina, in El Paso, gets chased out of town by rival cowboys/bandits, but returns to try to fight his way through to her, even though he knows it's likely to result in his death. He rides back into town ready to fight, but is gunned down.

In Breaking Bad terms, maybe Walt leaves, but Skylar is somehow held hostage; he thinks he is free and clear and can live without her, but then can't help himself and goes back for her, even though it likely means he'll get killed.
