I was mad because he was going 35 MPH down the interstate and everyone refused to pass him. So yay what do we do we ride in his spray of gravel and rock salt.

I used to, yes. Have a truck now but drive a car back and forth to work to save $ (should just ditch the truck but im redneck like that).

Was told to "use your own discretion" as far as coming in tomorrow. I may have to go in tomorrow for a meeting. I'm guessing if I open my Outlook, I'll probably see that it's cancelled.

As of posting time, I see that it is 1 degree above zero with a wind chill of 29 below.

they cancelled school tomorrow already here in No. Va. -- not for storm or snow but for "predictions of dangerously cold temperatures and wind chill"

We have a 2 hour delay already but it wouldn't surprise me if they cancel by morning. I don't understand. Cover up and go to school.

Still, with modern computer controls the days of hard-starting vehicles in winter is pretty much a thing of the past. KDKA earlier today had people calling in with “tips” on how to get cars to start in cold weather, and most of the advice people were giving dated back to the carburetor days and is inapplicable to probably any vehicle made in the last 15 years or so. So long as the battery can provide enough juice to adequately crank the engine, it’s almost certain to start.
