Well, I don't think anyone, especially me, is arguing that Pasta Too is equivalent to something you could find in freaking rome. Badhands simply said that she prefers more simple italian food. Of course, you could find me somewhere in this thread where anyone said HOLY CRAP, PASTA TOO TASTES EXACTLY LIKE SOMETHING YOU COULD FIND IN FREAKING TUSCANY.

It's nice of you to take the time and display some snobbery though. This thread really needed some. Pretty much every single restaurant in this thread isn't "true" food considering Pittsburgh is far from some sort of authentic cuisine hotbed.

I was merely offering my opinion on good Italian food, again no problem that she likes Pasta Too. I am simply saying for someone who is expecting a better quality of Italian, they may be disappointed. Since I am such a "snob" I am going to correct you, Rome isn't part of Tuscany, its part of Lazio.

The cajun chicken or pastrami at primantis i could nearly eat daily.

But the creamy cole slaw is garbage. i only like primantis version of it.

Sorry man, but i feel like i rememeber being at pirate or steelers games where they have a primantis station, but you can only get a cheesesteak, like that's the default primanti sandwich...and i think that's far from their best, and certainly if they on offer one sandwich, it shouldnt be the cheesesteak, so while it's still good, it's overated.
