Is it bad luck for the Penguins if I were to go out of the golf course or driving range next weekend?

Re: LGP Golf Thread
My friend left his golf clubs in my basement since last summer. I went out yesterday and stole his Pens towel he had on his bag. Right before I used it to wipe off my ball, I didnt feel right possibly wiping any dirt on a Pens towel the week of the playoffs. So I unhooked it from my bag and we connected it to the top of the cart to blow in the breeze as we drive.Firebird wrote:Is it bad luck for the Penguins if I were to go out of the golf course or driving range next weekend?

Re: LGP Golf Thread
We'll see I guess. Golfing should be okay just as long as you don't use Pens garb to clean your club/ball/shoes or don't go dressed as a Penguin or something.Firebird wrote:So....it's not?DudeMan2766 wrote:My friend left his golf clubs in my basement since last summer. Yeah, I am firmly in Bubba's camp after this weekend. I didn't know too much about him, but he is the kind of character that can bring new fans into the game. Didn't realize that on their very first date, his now-wife told him she couldn't conceive children. I think that was part of the emotional outburst afterwards (in addition to his recently passed father and adopted child)

Until he gets that putter fixed in crucial situations, he's going to continue to go majorless. In '08, it was somehow leaving the tying putt short on the 72nd hole at the US Open. In the '09 British, it was the 3-jack on 18, thinking he had to make the first putt and blowing it 10 feet by. Yesterday, he had a putt on either 2 or 3 that he yakked on. I just don't think he's got the chops over those money putts. He's a great pool pick for any major, as long as you're not looking to actually win the event.
