Re: ¡EBOLA! Warz Game Thread
I'm not sure. Maybe patient zero gets to infect a villager each night, who, unless quarantined, dies the following night. Which doesn't quite explain the number of casualties so far. Maybe there's a vig out there who just kills people at random for the heck of it.redwill wrote:What do you think it is?Gaucho wrote:I have no idea what the structure is, but if it is what I think it is, then the village is toast.

Looking at the write ups, obhave seems to be the only plausible vig kill.Gaucho wrote:I'm not sure. Re: ¡EBOLA! Warz Game Thread
I have the PM's, and I think that does it for the game, as there is no possible way for The CDC (slappy) to save all of the remaining infected players (MIMH, you were infected by Patient Zero, redwill, during this phase, but your death timer was too short to warrant continuing the game).
The village managed to survive (aka not die) until Night 6, as that is the latest time a player would still be alive. Slappybrown's quarantine does not end until Night 7.
So "congrats" village, you managed to survive 11 total phases (6 Night, 5 Day).
I will have a full game wrap-up and explanation in a new thread after I finish eating dinner.

Technically, the village lost, but it would've taken a miracle to win.
This was more of a game of survival than anything else.

Re: ¡EBOLA! Warz Game Thread
I think it would've been better if the virus had a lower rate of propagation. The way it was constructed basically guaranteed that the game would be over before anybody really figured out what was going on.MRandall25 wrote:Technically, the village lost, but it would've taken a miracle to win.

I'm glad that I was on the right track with my thoughts of it spreading through a voting mechanism, even thought I didn't catch onto what that mechanism was until it was too late.

What you said will be addressed at the end of the write-up. We definitely have some things to consider.

Re: ¡EBOLA! Warz Game Thread
Is there a seer in this game? Because if there isn't the angel is pointless beyond saving its own skin every time. Shooting in the dark is pretty pointless otherwise.
Stupid village is stupid.

Re: ¡EBOLA! Warz Game Thread
Actually I would never die or be infected so the game would never end. Technically this is a draw because I can't be killed or infected.redwill wrote:Translation:
