What is a "cash bash"?

Seriously never heard of a cash bash?

You pay (usually) $10 to get in the door. Your ticket has a 3 digit number on it. Its at a fireman's hall or the like. Free beer, free food, and every 15 minutes they give away cash drawings by calling lottery style numbers. Its usually like $300-$500 per prize. Then the last prize is usually like $1,000.

oh man i got a doozy today, complete with pictures. (ok, so confluence is right on the border of Fayette and Somerset Counties...I think this still applies)

Confluence is a pretty little town banking on its spectacular scenery to bring in tourists to spend money.

So when a photo of Police Chief Tom Keller and a woman brandishing firearms appeared online, it wasn’t exactly the kind of “come on” that’s appreciated.
