That's why he's after SDD, SDD was the first vote on him.MWB wrote:Look at the player who claimed green?newarenanow wrote:If my bandwagon picks up quickly, just look who started it. I'm an easy bandwagon target and it's an easy vote off for the reds.
Also, why would the reds want you off? So far you've only shown that you'll post votes in this game. That's the type of blue player most reds like having around.

What is suspicious to me about THG's role claim is the fact that he apparently posted part of his alleged PM which he knows he shouldn't do.

Ah, SDD. I thought he was talking about THG, since he seemed to be the one leading the charge against nan.

Re: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA WARZ Game Thread
I normally only post votes on Day 1 and Day 2 unless something pops up. I just think it is useless to try to track things down those days and it usually pulls out the greens more often, so I just try to make it simple.MWB wrote:Look at the player who claimed green?newarenanow wrote:If my bandwagon picks up quickly, just look who started it. After a few night kills and lowering the numbers, that is where I get more involved.
As for the reds, I'm an easy bandwagon kill. Not a lot of work needs to be done during the day. Everyone likes to "OMG lynch NAN!!".

I'd vote THG even if he was green. It would make the gaming experience better.MWB wrote:Ah, SDD. I thought he was talking about THG, since he seemed to be the one leading the charge against nan.

Is this because you are counter claiming thg's role or you just don't believe him?canaan wrote:im leaving my vote where it is

Re: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA WARZ Game Thread
Everybody who role claims basically does this. Rel's PM probably talks about his return from the Quorum too. Maybe he paraphrased, maybe he didn't. It's pretty much the nature of a role claim (especially in a game with solid theme). Neither claim gave their player's identity though.slappybrown wrote:What is suspicious to me about THG's role claim is the fact that he apparently posted part of his alleged PM which he knows he shouldn't do.
I'm still not comfortable that both role claims are incredibly vague, but I can't do anything about that.

I don't like your thought process. Even if he's lying, it doesn't seem like it's worth it to take a chance as a village and voting for a guy that could be good, especially since no one has counter claimed him yet.canaan wrote:the latter.Crankshaft wrote:Is this because you are counter claiming thg's role or you just don't believe him?canaan wrote:im leaving my vote where it is
You're either bad or you're stubborn. Either way, I don't like it.

Re: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA WARZ Game Thread
This I can get behind. If thg quoted his PM he should be killed on principle alone. He surely knows he shouldn't do that and so I'm inclined to believe it's a false claim.slappybrown wrote:What is suspicious to me about THG's role claim is the fact that he apparently posted part of his alleged PM which he knows he shouldn't do.

He actually put it into quotes though, and it is so neatly and perfectly arranged to fit the circumstances that it just seems off.CBear3 wrote:Everybody who role claims basically does this. Re: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA WARZ Game Thread
This is obviously a tough call, because on one hand (1) no one likes to force a player to clarify the green scope of their role is telling the truth but (2) THG is THG'ing the **** out of this game and should die.

The problem also is no one has come out to refute his claim.

Also true, but that may be intentional because one of the side benefits to a red false claim is outing greens.

How would one refute a claim that doesn't give specifics?MRandall25 wrote:The problem also is no one has come out to refute his claim.

Re: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA WARZ Game Thread
The other issue with his claim is that it came awfully early. I'm not sure if that makes it more or less suspicious. But the more I think about it, the less I believe him.

Considering his thing said something to the effect of "protecting the whatever the hell we're called", I think it's safe to say he's probably the angel.MWB wrote:How would one refute a claim that doesn't give specifics?MRandall25 wrote:The problem also is no one has come out to refute his claim.
Though I can see where one would think differently.

Re: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA WARZ Game Thread
Part of me makes me want to believe THG because if he was red it would benefit him more to be more specific and in return hopefully out the actual green player. Although the what he wrote is so vague it could easily be a fake claim. I'm going to hold off until we get another response from him.slappybrown wrote:Also true, but that may be intentional because one of the side benefits to a red false claim is outing greens.

Re: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA WARZ Game Thread
I dont want to say anything further. I think it benefits the village the most if the Red's cant pinpoint who is what role and end up wasting a Night on the Angel.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:Part of me makes me want to believe THG because if he was red it would benefit him more to be more specific and in return hopefully out the actual green player. Re: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA WARZ Game Thread
it is obvious to me who thg is. I won't spell it out though.
I'm still inclined for a nan vote. but it's only a hunch from the last vote.
