Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
Two things don't add up for either story:
If slappy was red, how would he know crank was the angel? The only way would be if the reds had a seer and viewed crank. The red seer role is not frequently available.
Slappy had to be really lucky to pick a red to roleblock on night one. He also didn't have a pressing need to come out today.

Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
If there was any reference to a role block / night attempt by a red that was thwarted I would tend to agree with you. Pavel hasn't made any reference in any write up. I'm not willing to believe you without some reference. The odds of you role blocking the one person who can kill starting Night 1 is what 1/15?slappybrown wrote:So the reds in this game just straight chillax and do nothing? This is your theory.
Pavel, motion to exchange my role block powers for a single vig bullet to shoot THG in his stupid face.

I'm not willing to believe you on the 6% chance that you role blocked the correct Red on Night 1. Sorry

Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
I'm not sure how he would know that unless he got it via pm, adding legitimacy to his claim.canaan wrote:what hes saying seems to be in line with the pm i received. i was noted as being Thomas Wayne. Him being in my employ parlays into his role. i dont believe i've mentioned that previouslyMWB wrote:Canaan, can you validate anything crank is saying regarding Thomas Wayne?
The issue then becomes how did canaan live, if slappy is telling the truth. If he roleblocked crank (who is the angel), canaan would be dead.

Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
I think it quite possible that randall was lying about night 1 kill, and that cranky's protection prevented night 2 kill. Stands to reason then that slappy's claim becomes quite the bit more dubious.
SDD is correct, there hasn't been a red seer in a while, but they used to be common in the 25+ games, moreso than the roleblock role recently reintroduced by Kaizer last game. My gut says slappy is pulling there having been a roleblocker last game to create a plausible claim (before Cranky's counterclaim).

We also don't know that mrandall is being truthful. He may not have killed rylan night one and was trying to say hi did for some other reason.

If the reds tried to kill crank night 1, and crank was saved, it would be pretty obvious...Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:If slappy was red, how would he know crank was the angel? The only way would be if the reds had a seer and viewed crank.

Why has there been no mention of any role block or attempted Red action?

I never said that the reds tried to kill crank. They could have tried to kill someone else and still viewed crank at the same time.Willie Kool wrote:If the reds tried to kill crank night 1, and crank was saved, it would be pretty obvious...Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:If slappy was red, how would he know crank was the angel? It could be that Pavel is trying to keep us guessing by not revealing too much information. Based on his write ups I think that is very plausible.thehockeyguru wrote:Why has there been no mention of any role block or attempted Red action?

I've played in a good amount of games. Never has it ever been that if an action occurs at night and its thwarted, that its not mentioned in the write-up.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:It could be that Pavel is trying to keep us guessing by not revealing too much information. Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
There is a first time for everything. I will at least agree the chances are slim that the reds were roleblocked with no mention of it, but I don't think it should be ruled out as impossible.

I cant operate under the assumption that this is the first time that something like that has occured.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:There is a first time for everything. Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
Now I know you are RED. You cant ax the Angel after he has come out. No one else has said they are the Angel/Doc. We have no reason to believe Crank isnt telling the truth.Kaizer wrote:kill them both, start with crank. unless hes red, then just kill him.

Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
There's also no indication of an angel save in the write up. So do you think there was just no attempt at all?thehockeyguru wrote:I've played in a good amount of games.
