Better than what we have...
I like the trade, for the value. They had 2 5th round picks so why not. I don't think Williams is better as much as he makes others better. Can you imagine Williams clearing out space for Austin to just run? Or Pickens having more freedom to do his thing?

I think Austin will be a legit WR2 but his size isn't optimal. Having a 3rd big WR will allow him to sneak off the line with less resistance.
It wasn't an option for him to come back, but the Ravens got the best value in the Johnson trade. You're giving up a 5th for 9 games of Mike Williams, it seems a bit steep.

There was always something lacking in Johnson's game and I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it was him almost running to the first down marker or something else, but he was just almost a great player. I think Austin might end up better than him in time and isn't that much smaller than Johnson. The 5th was an extra pick from another trade so no big deal to me.

Not really fair to compare Fields numbers vs Wilson beating up horrible NY teams

what a waste of a great play that tricked the Skins completely. Should had been a TD.

Stupid call. Washington’s offense wasn’t doing much so why risk giving them momentum? Yes he should have caught it, but the’s a CB for a reason.

Agree it was not the right time or place for that but JPP should not be let off the hook for blowing an easy catch, and I am not saying you are doing that either. The risk was not worth the reward in the moment.

Talk about conditioning. Before Freiermuth caught that TD, I was like, well at least they’ll get 3 points.

I don’t think any of us were wrong to be skeptical about Wilson, but man what a resurgence. He’s such a perfect fit for this offense and him looking bad in Denver might just have been a bad fit. The Steelers are kinda running the Seahawks offense that made him so successful.

Weak calls that had nothing to do with the play since Daniels was already getting sacked by then.

Defense picked a great time to crap the bed to let a long drive that most likely ends in points and no time left to get anything else this half and Skins get the ball back for the 2nd.

I miss a defensive coordinator that would confuse a rookie QB rather than play prevent defense the entire game and hope for splash plays.

First actually “good” team we gave faced this year, this is why winning as many possible before the break was so necessary.

Harris would not be playing this well with a chip on his shoulder looking to prove people wrong had his option been picked up. Was still the right call to not option him and Fields.

I agree and I’ve seen that he isn’t a good fit for Arthur Smith, but he seems to be. There are a few RBs in the draft that might be a better fit so unsure about signing him.

I thought he actually called it and there was a penalty. I like the aggression, but he could have saved himself a hit. He’s a good punt returner so willing to give the benefit of the doubt.

So now penalties that don’t have a bearing on the play don’t need to be called. OK refs.

Really stupid throw, Pickens lucky that they consider that finger brush contact.
