I’d go for it at the 39 but what do I know.

Interesting pattern, Jones holds to back up the next play then Pickens makes a big play.

I know you don’t like Jones but neither of those are called if it happens against Watt.

And yes, same thing Jones called on happened on that third down there. NFL has a huge consistency problem.

Baltimore players have been wrong on every one of their on field calls today, it’s kind of funny.

I agree but when players watch film and learn what to expect they follow suit. No different than hockey, players see the ref is lax on something they tend to do what’s allowed.

Washington should have gotten more involved. I think it’s more too much faith in him.

Pickens isn’t going to get those calls while he’s also making contact too.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Chris Boswell has 107 points so far this season and if he continues on this pace, he’ll have the record for most points in a season. If the Steelers win the division, are you guys okay with him kicking more FGs to get the record?

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
I assume you mean record for most points by a kicker, since his current pace would still leave him short of Ladainian Tomlinson's record even with the advantage gained by the extra regular season game. He is on pace to hold the kicker's record by game 16, though. which would be cool to avoid the inevitable asterisk that would come with a 17 game season.
As for the question... what do you even mean? Not trying to score touchdowns so he can get more field goals? Kick attempts on first down? No, that would be weird.
With the current Steeler's coaching staff and roster I think he will continue to get plenty of opportunities naturally.

I meant by a kicker. It's frustrating to watch 5 or 6 FG games with no TDs but I for one would be less frustrated if they're winning and he gets the record. Was wondering if you guys had the same opinion. I'd be concerned going into the playoffs, but this is a Mike Tomlin team and I'm always concerned with entering the playoffs. Great regular season coach, iffy in the postseason.Sigwolf wrote: Tue Nov 19, 2024 11:51 amI assume you mean record for most points by a kicker, since his current pace would still leave him short of Ladainian Tomlinson's record even with the advantage gained by the extra regular season game.
