I don't care how they win but getting past the first round of the playoffs would be appreciated.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
That's my thought as well. I've always been unwhelmed by Tomlin since he only won with Bill Cowhers team and hasn't had much success after the Super Bowl. I've been patient because as long as Ben was there it wasn't really Tomlins team. Now it's 100% Tomlins team and he finally has a Super Bowl caliber QB. If they lose in the first round I think Tomlin needs to be let go, especially if they come out unprepared.Admin wrote: Tue Nov 19, 2024 1:14 pmI don't care how they win but getting past the first round of the playoffs would be appreciated.

I don’t know who the weather will favor but I don’t think it’s going to hurt us much.

Don’t think that Squibb kick was intentional and I also don’t think it was going to make it out of bounds

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Waste of a drive, can’t take a sack there which clearly put them outside of Boswell’s range so going for a FG there was stupid too.

Agreed. Not making that kick in those conditions.

Kazee was being held out of bounds, what’s he supposed to do there?

Let go and stop moving his legs? Not really sure to be honest with you but it was pretty excessive.DelPen wrote: Thu Nov 21, 2024 8:29 pmKazee was being held out of bounds, what’s he supposed to do there?

Shouldn’t have passed. Just play smash mouth and run the ball twice up the middle. Chances are they get the 1st down and if not, still better than the FG attempt in these conditions.DelPen wrote: Thu Nov 21, 2024 8:23 pmWaste of a drive, can’t take a sack there which clearly put them outside of Boswell’s range so going for a FG there was stupid too.

Brown was holding him, he pulled him into the bench with him.

Pickens almost drops that pass, went right threw his hands and was lucky his leg was up because he doesn’t believe in catching balls with two feet down.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Me too, just being sarcastic. I think they should have punted on each drive.

Austin’s really good at the fake fair catch. I think one of the punts rolled 20 yards with the punting team stopped near him. Can’t remember the game.
