Well I ended up winning a set of Maxfli revolution clubs on ebay for a semi decent price. $200 + shipping for the complete set, minus the bag, brand new, +1 inch in length. There was a set of callaway irons on there at +1 also but I feel like they wouldn't have been good because of a stiff shaft. Oh well, no big deal. Since I didnt get a bag, I needed to buy one. So, in true mac5155 fashion, i purchased this:

My home course growing up was South Park (we could walk to there); I would have lost those in the high rough by the second hole. :)

Theres an awesome Groupon today for Cherry Creek in Greensburg, over half off a round of 18 for 4. Ends up being like $21 a person if you have a foursome for 18 + cart

Check out golfnow.com for some good deals. I'm not sure if Greensburg/Latrobe/Connellsville will be listed, but the nicer ones will be under pittsburgh at least. They always have awesome deals for last minute rounds.

Awesome. There are a couple there around me - Duck Hollow, Cherry Creek, Madison club to name a few. Thanks!

cherry creek was always in good shape and actually in better shape than most courses around. that being said, there are too many holes that just flat out blow. kenny the kangaroo is not a gr8 golfer, and is not above playing anywhere, but cedarbrook, odin, madison club, champion lakes, etc. are all better options, in this golfers opinion.

Tiger with the win. Uneffingbelievable flop shot on the 16th to tie for the lead. Birdied 3 of the last 4 holes coming in to get his 73rd win, tying Jack.

I'm not falling for the "Tiger's back" this time. Last tourney he did really well, he looked great and I thought for sure he was going to come out on fire and win at least 1 major this year. I'm not falling for it again.

He's got two wins (another unofficially), 2 other top 5's and it's june 3rd...I'd say he's back. 3 majors left for him to prove it to you.

Tiger just told me (via his presser) he had any shot in his bag today. Any shape, club, shot, he could do whatever he wanted with the ball today. I believe him.

I get that he's inconsistent. But at the end of the day, he won. I think people have these visions of him winning every tournament he entered pre-fiasco. He's obviously going to have bad rounds/weekends, so we'll see. He could very well shoot an 80 at Olympic and miss the cut, but I personally wouldn't bet on it.

i agree with you and i dont expect him to win every tourney because even his prime he didnt do that but there were a lot of things in his game the rest of the week that werent there 5 or 6 years ago. his driving accuracy, altho his fairway numbers werent terrible, was pretty noticeable. his ability to scramble this week was remarkable though

Pretty much agree with this. Without looking it up, Tiger probably averaged about 6 victories per year during his career. With two already this year, winning six is conceivable. Either way, he's now one of the front runners for Player of the Year on the tour, he's up to 4 in the World Golf Rankings, and 3 in the FedEx Cup standings, which is remarkable with the amount of criticism he's received.

Non-PGA tour related. I'm in a scramble at Southpointe tomorrow. Took a vacation day, and when i said what I was doing, they said it might qualify as professional development so I wouldn't need to use vacation. Doesn't get too much better than that.
