A source told the Post-Gazette that it would be a “reward” not to play them in an exhibition game.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said on Monday that he hoped to play a full half and work on the no-huddle offense against the Eagles. Bell in particular would be an important part of that.
In the longer term, Bell and Blount opened themselves up to more scrutiny by NFL drug testers with their pending charges for marijuana possession but likely will not face a suspension in 2014

Try here:largegarlic wrote:Sort of related to relantel's question, does anybody know of a good blog/message board for Steelers stuff? I used to go to Behindthesteelcurtain to get posters' insights on training camp, pre-season games, evaluation of latest roster moves, etc., but I feel like their discussion has gotten to be so homeric (not in the sense of epic Greek poetry, but being really skewed in the Steelers favor) that I don't trust them as a good source anymore. I feel like the discussion of the Pens on here is quite even-handed and sensible by comparison.

Re: Official 2014-2015 Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Does anyone else find it odd that Tomlin said it would be a reward to sit bell/blount for the preseason game?
Pretty candid response, he should have just gone all the way and said "we don't care about them smoking weed". I would prefer that, but it being a reward to sit out the preseason is kind of a bad sentiment to have IMO.

To be fair, it would be a reward for them to not play a preseason game.

I find it odd that Tomlin (king of all cliches) said it. I have no problem with him stating the obvious thoughTroy Loney wrote:Does anyone else find it odd that Tomlin said it would be a reward to sit bell/blount for the preseason game?

The patriots only employ players that stomp on others heads. They are much classier than the teams that employ players that smoke weed...
