Well, logically, we know that Walt gets the ricin from his house in, what, the last episode of the season? So whomever he intends to give the ricin to likely won't die during the series.
Who says that the last episode cannot span a few days? To say whoever he intends to give the ricin to will not likely die in the series doesn't make sense. Gilligan said that the ending wont be ambiguous one bit, so whoever gets the ricin, we will most likely see their death.
For some reason, I doubt that we will see Jesse experience a week long bout of nausea, diarrhea, and seizures. Remember when Gilligan ended a season with Jesse pointing a gun at Gale's face? Gilligan didn't intend for that to be ambiguous yet we never saw Jesse pull the trigger. Considering the median lethal dose of ricin is 1/228 a standard aspirin tablet, I'd say that Walt using the ricin on any character would indicate the death of that character without ambiguity.

Was just re-watching last weeks ep.. so to add to the 'Hank as a drug lord' theory, Hank has a picture of Jesse's 'dead body' on his phone, and there is copious amounts of blood (albeit animal blood) on his kitchen floor. Plus, they will have pictures of a barrel of money in a desert, stalking Walt out to the desert (looks like a chase?), a gunfight... Points to no one will be looking for Jesse Pinkman, and adding to the relevance of the confessions video.

On my phone, so quoting sucks, but to the comment of nazi's taking his $ and walt's chasing them for it

Bearded Walt had a large large stack of $ iirc. Gave a ton for gun / car.... Left $100 tip I believe for free meal

Wow that desert scene was chilling. I like that a lot of people predicted precisely what is happening--but others wrote them off because it was 'predictable'. Not to say there's no twists left (what happens with Marie will be interesting).

A lot harder to be cheering for Walt than it was 20 minutes ago.

Yeah, not that you could really root for Walt at this point, but he has just gone total villain at this point.

My guess at this point is that he "wins"... but when is all is said and done, it is a Pyrrhic victory as he has nothing left.

I agree. Seems to be a lack of an elaborate plan and now the good guys and bad guys is pretty much black and white with no remaining gray area. Of course, everything can change in the first four minutes of next weeks' show.

I was starting to like Walt a tiny bit more when he was begging for Hank's life. But after he got shot, he turned into probably the biggest A-hole the world has ever seen.

How is there no gray area? Even through the end, Walt did what he did to save his family (Skyler and Walt Jr). He knew the police were listening in on the call, and had to take the baby to make it look like Skyler was forced into cooperating with him under the threat of violence. If it wasn't for that, she would probably be going to prison and their kids would essentially be orphans.

Cranstons acting was superb--trying to act tough on the phone while showing signs of the old Walt, crying underneath. Brilliant.
