I think he concocted a doctor claim based on the Thomas Wayne backstory. I've done it in other games. Its a good play.MWB wrote:Slappy, how do you explain the Wayne thing?

Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
Honestly, if there is a "real" angel, I'd come out, because if we kill Crankshaft and he is the real angel, the reds kill canaan tonight, and then we are out a seer and angel.
And in a small game like this, we can't have that happen.
Slappy may be green or orange, but he is worth the risk if we are wrong as a role blocker.
Just my opinion. If there is a real angel, this game is WAY too small to let some mistakes happen.
If no one comes out, I'm keeping my vote on slappy.

Dont come out angel. DO NOT.
I don't have to block Crankshaft. I can not block him and you can see what he does. I'll block someone else.

Frankly, I think we should let it proceed to a no vote. How you can look at what I have done and conclude I am anything but green is beyond me. If you want to give crankshaft another night, then let him.

I really want to vote for you after this post. Why should the angel come out now if crank is lying? There is more heat on slappy than crank at this point. If anyone is going to die today it's going to be slappy between the two of them. The angel coming out makes things way worse.newarenanow wrote:Honestly, if there is a "real" angel, I'd come out, because if we kill Crankshaft and he is the real angel, the reds kill canaan tonight, and then we are out a seer and angel.

A no vote lets you go on with this charade. The obvious move is to eliminate you. Then we can proceed from there with actual answers.slappybrown wrote:Frankly, I think we should let it proceed to a no vote. I'm slightly interested in a no vote, but I'm also worried that it will lead to another night of nothingness and even more confusion

Why are people voting for any outside of Crankshaft or slappy? Especially slappy?

It will. A no vote will be the worst thing IMO. They'll just go off and kill some random person, and then we'll be doing the same thing tomorrow.PensHckyFan79 wrote:I'm slightly interested in a no vote, but I'm also worried that it will lead to another night of nothingness and even more confusion

I'm starting to think Pecky voted for SDD to bring thenumbers closer, hoping one more person flips and then slappy will go to him as well and make a "no" vote.
Hmmm.

Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
discussion has died down a bit recently. I had suspicion on SDD earlier today. I'm not sure right now. I agree there is less for the town to lose if we vote out slappy but if he is a green role blocker it would be better to keep him and kill a red. If it will take 1 vote to kill slappy and there is time I will switch over.

i think we learn more from stringing up someone than no one, and learn more from stringing up slappy than cranky.

Of course it's better to kill a red. But no one knows who the reds are. I think we get more info killing slappy this round.PensHckyFan79 wrote:discussion has died down a bit recently. Who can learn more from something else than dealinig with this when we can do it during the day.MWB wrote:We have a seer.newarenanow wrote:It will. A no vote will be the worst thing IMO. I just think one of the two is lying, because I think in a small game like this, having a role blocker and an angel and a seer gives the village WAY too much power.

Again, why would I make this role claim when I did and how I did if I am red? It makes no sense. I didn't even claim I knew your role, your title, your anything, other than the fact that (1) I have blocked you every time and (2) no reds have killed so you are likely red. What kind of suicide move is that? Why make such a weak role claim?

Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
Of course, but why would you vote for the person who's story checks out when you are not voting for the person who's story doesnt? He protected canaan on night 2, but the reds didn't kill him. Who did the reds target then? Why didnt anyone die?MWB wrote:Then we'll know that and can move forward accordingly.slappybrown wrote:All you are going to learn is that I am green.
What really happened is I blocked him, they didn't kill knan, and the real angel protected canaan. Thats logical. What you guys are proposing with respect to me makes zero sense.

If you get rid of slappybrown now, we learn from that vote. It also allows me to keep canaan alive one more night. Our chances become pretty good then to sort out the fray during the next day phase.
