Was it about why she took her shirt off? I remember that being a big deal and thinking, "Why is the US winning the world cup not the big deal right now?".

I was just wondering the same thing. I can't fully remember what I wrote on, but I do know that was a key part of the entire paper was her taking her shirt.

It wasn't planned, according to herself, which is plausible, since she could hardly have planned for a situation she was a huge longshot to be in (ie. the hero in the final). Probably just, um, displacement activity (?).

It would have been relevant if she wasn't wearing a sports bra, which is a glorified tank top, underneath. I never understood what the big deal was there. It's empowering, or something?
