Worst Non-chain pizza you've had

Canyon Pizza in State College. It's great when you grab a slice coming back from the bar, but God awful terrible when you're sober. The running joke was always that their sauce was made out of ketchup and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if that was true.

Late to the party, but Jioio's pierogie pizza is the best. Love it. The people/owners are awful. Very awful. Almost to the point I want to boycott. I tip the kids that work there a little extra because of the hell it must to have those people as bosses.

Lucciano's in Bethel Park. I'd rather eat garbage than their pizza. And the owners / managers are complete a-holes.

Oh my god! I forgot about them! You're right, hands down the worst pizza I've had and their owners are the kind of people you know peaked in high school. Just total jerks.

Canyon was OK for the price. We always went to the Arena out on Martin St. Monday nights, 10 bucks, AYCE wings and pizza.

Whoa, time out. Have they gone down hill or something? I haven't eaten there in quite some time, but that was my go-to place back in the day. I'd say they were neck and neck with Fiori's in being my favorite.

My parents love it for some reason. I used to eat it as a kid because I thought that was the only choice we had. Then I realized I was missing out on a lot and haven't had it since.

No votes for the Original Hot Dog Shop in Oakland yet? Granted, it's based on my experience from mid- to late 90's, but THAT was the most awful pizza (and fries) that ever existed in the Milky Galaxy. To say that it was soaked in old, overcooked oil would be an understatement.

Of course, the caloric value per dollar was unbeatable, so if you were short on cash....

as a former employee of the O, yes. Pizza was disgusting. fries weren't bad though (at least while I worked there).
