There should be immediate GM tar and featherings after this débâcle. Weber paid to be a physical #1 D until he's 40! At 10 mil per....who makes that mistake a second time? The first time was offer sheet but still. And then someone says....front loaded so ya....ill take it? I can't get over that. I don't care if Subban was running around farting on people and smacking their wives, you just don't make that trade! Imaging the picks and prospects he would have brought. Or anyone else not paid until 40.

If you don't like my perpetual pessimistic dbaggy undertone comments... stop saying idiotic stuff, and then I won't have a desire to point out how stupid they are. Extremely simple solutions. You're good with simple, so you should get it.sicmetal6 wrote:Perpetual pessimist with d baggy undertones much?Jim wrote:Delayed over reaction much?
... and it's not undertones. Nothing subtle about it. It is also not dbaggy, it's straight up ass-ishness.

Interesting deal. Was last season his breakout year or a one-time exception? If it's the latter, that's a long time to be on the hook.ville5 wrote:NJ Devils sign Kyle Palmieri to a 5 year, $4.65 million AAV contract, "thumb".

You do know that a bit of humor is allowed right? I get where someone like you would gasp at such a thing, but lighten up a little. Did Mom not cut the crust off of your pb and j? Some guys go out and buy big trucks to overcompensate, this.....this is what you do. And it's fine, I can live with whatever you have to do to cope with the insecurities and the down right below mediocrity of your situation. Take a deep breath, it's ok that your not like the other boys.Jim wrote:If you don't like my perpetual pessimistic dbaggy undertone comments... stop saying idiotic stuff, and then I won't have a desire to point out how stupid they are. Didn't want to start a thread for this. Maybe it fits under the "etc." part of the title.
"Sabres forward Evander Kane was arrested by Buffalo police on Friday and faces numerous charges for allegedly grabbing three women by the neck, hair and arms during an altercation at a downtown bar last month."

Am I the only one who is wondering what the hell Detroit it doing? DeKeyser gets $5 mi/year, 6 year deal? I know I don't follow Detroit closely but seems like way too much money for him...

Jarnkrok 6 years, $2 million AAV. Seems like he's selling himself a bit short. Still only 24.

Hoffman- 4 years, $5.1875 AAV
Barrie- 4 years, $5.5 AAV
Very good deals for both clubs.
Also, Vermette to be bought out.

Re: 2016-17 NHL UFA signings, trades, etc.
Was thinking ahead to tonight's (10/29) game in Philly and realized no one signed Mike Richards. I enjoyed goofing on him when Pierre used to slurp him, but I'm surprised no one would take a chance on him as a defensive specialist on the third or fourth line. His scoring is largely gone but I didn't think he looked *that* bad with Washington.
Only related article I can find is from July. Seems as if the legal woes are taken care of. He's 31, not 51. Meh.
