Torts is torqued and with good reason. Shaw should have gotten five and a match. Awful call. The NHL will never, ever do anything to stop head shots. Stupid.

When did **** boy Orpik grow a pair? He had 1 fight as a Pen in 2010 and has 9 for WAS. I always considered him soff for not manning up. What changed?

He had 10 (regular season) fights as a Penguin, all between 2003-2008. His 6 DC (rs) fights have been since 2017 (1/27/17 onward), plus 2 in the postseason.

Ready to see how the Canes try to answer this afternoon. They've lost the last 3 vs. the Caps the last two weeks and might need a little luck to beat them in Washington. Caps are ON just like last year at this time and their roster is better too. Rierden uses the same system as last few years and the players started getting back to it after the break. They will be very tough to beat.

Canes playing well down two forwards as Ferland also has an upper body injury after a Wilson collision, but they are all over the Caps tonight, Shots are like 26-9 and Canes have twice as many hits. Raleigh crowd is loving it.
