Jersey management has got to be disappointed in this team. I’m sure they thought they were built to compete for the Metro title.

Fans have to be disappointed that Fitzgerald didn't address goaltending until way too late. Not sure why he didn't realize that it was going to be a major problem area when the team itself isn't sound defensively. Then they had serious injury woes and voila, real mediocrity. I think they overachieved last year and still have a ways to go to be a real force in the Metro. They are marshmallow soft physically.

Until the needless Penalty the Pens were controlling play.The Devils PP Goal changed the entire flow of the game.
Malkin clearly does not want to play or is injured. A Zero Effort the entire night.Jeff Carter has as many PP Goals(3) as him.
Right on cue the 30th Ranked PP does its thing in a close game.Which is nothing once again.1 shot from Puustinen.
For most of the season the PK was decent but its gone downhill the last 2 weeks.The Pens D can't or won't clear the net front and it costs them.
Sid,DOC and Rust getting chances all game.They will have to be the guys to get this tied up.

It's not injury. That interview he gave a brief while back made it pretty clear he really isn't interested in playing anymore.

For whatever the reason this Organization signed off on Sully burying Rikola.The amount of money allocated to the Defense Corps and then turning it upside down 3 times in 3 Years is a big issue for this team.
