Puljujarvi looks like a competent, physical forechecking bottom six winger with youth and size.

Of course Sully had to scratch him for 3 weeks.

Ponomarev, Poulin, Puljujarvi could be a competent, young and more importantly, very cheap 4th line for us next season.

It's almost like dressing young guys instead of older guys is a better idea. In a game tonight with Poulin, Puljujarvi, Puustinen, DOC and Gruden, I bet they don't look flat in the 3rd period...unless Sullivan just starts double shifting his top 6.

I'm at the point where nothing Sully does surprises me anymore. Pizz me off ? Yep but not surprising.

Errey must have done something to someone because he’s better than all of these random guys they have in between periods these days. Trots was really bad.

Canes had so many chances taking apart the Pens with their speed through the Neutral Zone.
Ned has been good,Many tough stops and the only Goal was due to a deflection after Pettersson got hurt and was out of the play.
Puljujarvi with an outstanding period.Physical,skated well,scored with a laser shot.
Puustinen all over the ice.He has energy and plays with a ton of effort.
Pens have to get pucks in deep and keep the puck in the Canes Zone this Period.Sitting back playing passive won't get it done against that team.

If the Pens actually play the younger players next season they could have a very competent bottom six.

I think the biggest concern or need to fix is the 2nd line. They have to either find Geno some electric line mates or consider bringing in a new 2C and move him to wing. Paying him with Bunting and Rakell isn't going to be good enough next season.
