Man, I know you know already but as a peer I feel like it’s my obligation to remind you … the pirates are going to suck this season the same way they always suck. There will be glimmers of hope, maybe even early in the season like last year, but the ownership will do. Nothing to support or encourage the growth and we will be drafting early again. Do not fool yourself. It’s better that way, as I am sure you know.

In better news, WBS Penguins won 2-1. McGroarty with a goal, and Murashov stopped 29 of 30 shots. Once again, the Puljujarvi-Koppanen-Puustinen line was out there for the only goal against.

McGroarty has 11 points in his last 14 games, including 4 goals. He now has 6 goals, 19 points in 33 games

Let me revise, I meant the swing outside the Eastern conference so out of 5 games, they will beat the only team they shouldn’t. I wasn’t intending to count the Sabres and Caps games and I forgot Nashville was home.
